Hey all, Berry here. This takes place after the party thread here, where PI officially moves to the city and interacts with the remnants of AL and begins to settle. any PI or AL characters are welcome to respond The trip wasn't that bad on Funk E'tan's paws. He'd traveled several times and longer distances before, as had most of the more seasoned hunters of the League. This was nothing new, and a change in scenery hurt no one. Of course, the hard part was working the stragglers of AL into their ranks. None seem too pleased with their situation but it was hard to tell. Funk would let the proxies decide where each of their districts would be housed, if they wanted to deviate away from the church. Of course, Foreign Affairs would be here for now. but once he got someone to take over as proxy, they could do what they pleased.
For now, most shuffled around the church and surrounding area, cleaning or marking or whatever. Some left to go get a better grasp on what they were working with now. Funk didn't quite know what to do, a little lost but his head clearer than it had been for several days. Hayate-chan bounced around his tail, still playing with it despite being almost a trainee. She missed an obvious move, having to take a second to find the tail again before continuing. Turning to his companion and the only one who could get her old coalitioners to listen, Octavia, he absent mindedly started talking, "I was thinking you'd keep an eye on your cats while they settle, then maybe they'll get comfortable enough to join one of our districts. I take it it'd be best for them to stay where in their old dens, but if one of my proxies want it, I'm not gonna keep it from them."
Enigma's icy blue gaze was sweeping across the cats. He'd returned shortly before Octavia had with the league. He'd offered help where he could with the last of the injured. Nero, who lay sleeping at his paws was almost completely healed after a shoulder injury he'd sustained from the fight with the rouges. He'd returned to ruins. But that's what he got for leaving them. His gaze drifted to Octavia. Even though they had never been friends, at least he trusted her. The tom beside her... the former high sage felt an instant dislike for Funk, and he was sure that was clear as day across his face. He knew where his loyalties lay.
Ruin sat a little ways from the rest of the cats, only flicking an ear as the league invaded their space. He'd always been an outsider, when his family all but left him he'd all but removed himself from the group. Of course he'd fought the rouges, but only until it was clear it was a loosing battle. He wasn't nearly as dumb as the cats that had been killed in the carnage. "Octavia if any cats need a guide I'm healthy enough to go out." He mewed, tilting his head. He saw the shift in power here and he intended on getting off on the right paw.
It hadn’t been ideal. Octavia hadn’t wished to resort to going to the league, but what other choice had there been? Her pine green eyes turned to Funk E’tan, they seemed oddly dull and lifeless. Her left paw was killing her from the journey. Even though she was sitting, it was throbbing. She had her toes just barely lifted, hardly even noticeable. She wished she could leave, or go away to her... well no longer her den. Frustration prickled at the back of her neck, but there was nothing she could do. They ran this place now.
“Of course.” She mewed, but her mouth felt dry as sand, and her eyes gazed forward at nothing really. She’d been better off on her own, hadn’t she? She could feel eyes on her, and slowly she turned to meet them. Enigma. Her ear twitched, wondering what was going through his mind.

If Funk noticed the glares, he certainly paid them no mind. Taking this place was grace, keeping all the Coalition's cats alive was a mercy. Nothing more, nothing less. Surely they all realize that too. They'd get used to it in no time, and if they didn't, the League had their own ways of dealing with that. Everyone knew, so it was best to be as amicable as possible till Funk got sick of it. Gently pulling his tail away from his kit, he stood up and looked around the camp absent mindedly. Looking over at Octavia and Enigma, barely acknowledging the latter, he picked up his charge, "I'm gonna go look for the nursery with this one, do what you will... kay, let's try this way." and with that, he walked off, definitely in the wrong direction. But it was fine.

"Ooh ooh, me. Show me around." Lorelei Manina bounded up to Ruin, the tall calico skidding to a halt. Far too young to know the history and having never been to the city, this was all a brand new exciting adventure for her. Hopping every other step, she lead the other towards the entrance, "Come on! I gotta find a new jail for the prisoners and you're my key in."
An elegant, luscious framed she-cat draped in slick and glossy jet black fur kept quiet among her league mates. She was one that many did not know existed for the simple fact that she chose to be a shadow. Speaking only when she chooses to and preferring to be hidden despite her magnetising beauty. Those who do know her, know her as Melori. Crystal blue eyes as cold as ice and as sharp as broken glass, searched their surroundings. She did not feel comfortable being in the city. She would much prefer being in the forest. The smell was strange. A choking sour stench lingered in the air, causing her to wriggle her nose. However much she despised being here, Funk gave the orders. She wasn't even sure where she would even sleep. She took a seat and wrapped her long tail neatly around her paws.
Driscal, a muscular dark brown tabby tom with fireballs for eyes, mingled in among his league mates. He wasn't too sure about moving but the city never bothered him. He knew he could sleep just about anywhere. The broad shouldered tom gazed around curiously at his surroundings. It was a fascinating place and he wanted to explore more of it; but where would he start?
"We have a built in jail." Ruin mewed, a little startled by the she cat's energy but he'd be a loyal tour guide none the less. "The graveyard was where the charged lived, it has a cellar on one end that would be perfect to shove cats into." He turned to lead the way out of the church. "The only other place might be the mausoleum but I think it's much to small. Perfect for your healers though, keeps all the herbs dry and there's lots of room for patient nests." He rambled on as they walked towards the city, long deserted by twolegs. If anyone else would like to join him this was their chance.

"Ooh nice. That sounds perfect. I'll have to tell Innocentia. There's so much more here than I expected." Lorelei walked along with Ruin, completely taken in with the abandoned city. She never ventured into the city on her travels, and this place was far more interesting than the manor. While she was sure some would find the change hard, she was more excited than anything. "Though what, you had a group of cats that just lived there that weren't prisoners? Why would you do that?" A little brash to ask someone who's culture was slowly dissipating, but if Lorelei realized the harshness, she sure didn't show it. There was more curiosity in her voice than anything else.

Somehow Funk and Hayate-chan managed to find the nursery. Most likely an Absum Lux cat finally helping the struggling Nemesis. Or he got lucky. Either way worked, and now Hayate-chan ran off to tackle her siblings. Going on to actual things he needed to do, the first was finding a place for the Foreign Affairs and Ambassador districts to stay. The other districts would be handled by their proxies, and once these two got new ones, they could always move. But having some temporary home was better than none. "Let's see. There's already a steady rogue population so we'll have to learn where they mingle for the Ambassadors. Close enough to make the trip easy but far enough so they're not harassed. Hmmm. Wonder if there are any secret passages and the like?" He more mused to himself than anything, not particularly caring if anyone overheard him.
