come one come all to the League's farewell halloween party! {Primal Instinct} The League was leaving the Estate behind, a move their current Nemesis was more than happy to make. So with leaving meant leaving with a bang and letting all the confetti just sit in the manor. It was party time, and no one could throw one like the League. It was the start of what Funk heard routinely called 'Halloween' which was an excuse to be as scary and gross as possible, which was their specialty. The moon was bright and high in the sky, sure to allow any wandering spirits to make some sort of contact. Funk E'tan was sure some cats had set up scares for whoever was unfortunate enough to pass by, but he wouldn't be surprised if some left with an actual supernatural experience. Thanks to a few friends in the city, and a bit of ingenuity, fake smoke billowed through each of the rooms and leaked out onto the lawn which was scattered with fake spooky decorations and a few real ones. Long strands of neon novelty lights hung along the walls and littered the floor. Cups and bowls filled with a mysterious liquid even Funk wasn't sure how to became that color. Some had strained herbs in them like tea which he was all too curious how it would effect his guests. Some even had little fake eyes and the like bobbing in them, not that they compared to the actually pool of eyes he had been sprucing up the last few days to be even more disgusting than usual. There would have been food, but since all the twoleg stuff he could find was poisonous, they made do with stealing cans of a strange looking but delicious tasting paste kittypets liked. A huge container of odds and ends was by the entrance, for anyone who wanted to try and piece a costume together for the event.
Some of the League had stolen various things from the city to dress up, others used the natural things around them, and there were those that were 'too cool' to dress up. Funk E'tan didn't mind, as long as they stayed out of the way like the too cool for school kids they were. He knew word had traveled around to the other clans, he had a few with ties to others that couldn't keep a secret. But that made things all the more exciting, who knew who would show up. Any fights would have to be broken up, or at least dragged away from everyone else, but they were warned to be on their best behavior for the night. By the next night, the manor would be abandoned.
Funk had one of the Hunters tie this silly looking cape around his neck. The fabric was awful, it wasn't comfortable to the touch at all. But there was something about having a cape that the Nemesis loved. He wove his way through the throng of cats, every note of music melting the stress of the last few days off his back. This place had too many memories, good and bad but he needed just a few more good.
It was to no one's surprise that the High Priestess of SunClan had shown up to the League's party. In fact, she rather appeared the first non-Primal Instinct cat to do so thus far, as her ivy eyes gazed about. She'd heard it was a costume party, and the cult leader had spared no expense in her body paint for the occasion. Her colors were dark and gaudy, ghostly white, void black, and crimson red, with a few splashes of orange and yellow that looked like either fire or creepy eyes, depending on which part exactly you were looking in between the harsh lines written across her fox colored fur.
The still wet blood, unlike the paint, however, was real, and entirely unintentional. It dripped down the side of her mouth and splashed across her side, glistening as she walked among the League cats towards the estate, ivy eyes bright and manic. She carried a few pieces of prey in her jaws, the creatures having been filled with herbs she'd been meaning to test for a while now. Perhaps she'd kill the guests, or maybe nothing at all would happen. Foxstar figured this was the perfect opportunity to have a little fun, regardless.
It was impossible to ignore the SunClan she-cat's presence. Foxstar had made quite the name for herself over the course of her leadership. Taking over two clans, starting a war with a third, and to those who were only up to date on recent events, most notably the fact that she'd taken at least one life from all three members of DayClan's Immortal Council. Eternallaughter, Windchaser, Rubyflame. Along with at least two other queens and six kits. Even to some cats of the League, that was a lot. Most certainly unusual for a Clan leader.
She approached Funk after depositing the prey, wearing a dangerous sort of smile on her lips. The feline had been dubbed insane, and that wasn't something that seemed entirely false. Foxstar looked unhinged, and it took her longer than it ought to to focus on the Nemesis, soft humming that had been barely there fading to nothing. Looking at her now, he could see the lacy black choker around her neck, with it'd deep green spider pendant matching her eyes, and matching little bracelets on all four of her paws. "So you're the Funk E'tan I've been hearing about." She commented, eyes unabashedly roaming his frame with a sly, flirty expression.

Out of every cat that could have walked up to him at this party, Foxstar was surprisingly unsurprising. After going to the party they threw when the moon disappeared, he knew the weird cult clan knew how to have a good time. He hadn't heard much of Sunclan since his informants fell off the face of the earth, though it seemed tensions were high so having the High Priestess show up at his party was odd. The exploits were known, you'd have to be deaf and living under a rock to not know who Foxstar was. The Nemesis watched her with an air of slight caution, letting her approach him and speak forst. The way her eyes roamed him made a shiver run down his spine. Even with bringing numerous cats home recently, he hadn't actually felt any interest in she-cats since Eshek died. Almost like he wouldn't let himself. They always had differing viewpoints over who he could see versus who she could see. He pushed the thought out of his mind, tonight was supposed to clear his mind not cloud it more. This was his final hurrah, so he wouldn't let the dead drag it down.
The blood covering her mouth caught his eye first. Prey undoubtedly, but as she got closer, he realized it smelt of herbs. Stepping to the side to take in the body paint, he stretched some, the cape falling off his back slightly, "Persian Violet, Mint and Black Hawthorn, huh? Fraid no one else is gonna join the dead after eating those. Little uncharacteristic of the Foxstar I hear about."

Reprise had been trying to have a good time. Big celebrations weren't really her thing, but she wanted to be there for her brother, Funk. Still, she stood on the outskirts, nodding politely to the guests that passed her. But there was no way she could leave, Reprise had plans for tonight. She would be preforming a song, though somehow the nerves were killing her. She loved singing but there were already so many cats milling about, yellow eyes glowing.
Her costume was something else though, bright red fabric was tied tightly across her pelt and tail, whilst glistening plastic stars and fairy dust had been jostled in between her white striped Bengal fur. She stood with confidence, even if she didn't feel that way.
Suddenly, a shiver ran down her spine. She strained her eyes, watching as a she-cat, her pelt covered in dark colored paints, appeared. Reprise knew who she was, she almost wished she didn't but there, in the crowd of cats, was the leader of SunClan, a murderer... insane, her name Foxstar. What was the cult leader doing here?
Quickly, her eyes searched the crowd for Funk, her heart almost missing a beat when she spotted him, Foxstar clearly heading towards him. Without thinking, Reprise padded towards her brother. She knew Funk was capable of many things but Foxstar scared her. She could see they were clearly talking now, her breath caught in her throat as she wandered up behind Funk.

(maybe i'll actually bring other cats in oop) {Dayclan}
Amidst the mass of frills and buttons was a slightly taller she-cat, half of her face blocked by a white mask. Goldenpaw didn't have much reason to come, she got swept up in a group of other apprentices from various clans. Her scent was masked as well, as she went to the effort of taking out her signature feathers out of her fur and going the long way to allow the Dayclan scent to dissipate. At first, she wouldn't have thought it necessary. There were some rules in place and she doubted Funk E'tan would let anything happen to his spy. But the instant Sunclan hit her nose, her blood froze into ice. Worse was seeing the High Priestess there, one who'd taken several lives from the other Immortal Council members. She stuck close to one of the other apprentices, the group laughing as they entered one of the rooms that was like a house of mirrors.

{Summerclan}
Spectreslight wasn't one for these kind of parties. She seems more the kind to turn up at a ball, or whatever the cat equivalent of a fancy party would be. But hearing of the opportunity to explore the grounds of the League was too tempting for her. Her long white pelt was groomed out, an almost indistinguishable shade of light purple trailed along the tips of her fur and around her eyes. Coupled with a bright red dye around her mouth, she was a stunning clone of the ghosts she tended to see. It seemed Halloween was a time to celebrate such a skill, but the noise in the manor was too loud so she found herself in the quieter estate. Groups of cats loitered around, and she joined a pair that was in what looked like a meeting room. They sat in front of the pool of eyes, whispering to each other about how this place wasn't haunted. Approaching them as silent as the dead, she leaned in really close to the two. Whispering the smallest "boo", she was met with screams more blood curdling in nature than anything she'd heard. The pair bolted from the room, leaving Spectreslight to loudly laugh all by herself.

{Primal Instinct}
Lorelei Manina was dressed as perfectly as she could, wrapped in any sort of plain fabric she could find till she was more mummy than cat. Even her dark eye was completely covered by an eye patch no one wanted. Which really, who would give up the opportunity for such a basic pirate costume. Gallivanting around the first floor, she stopped and talked to pretty much every group. not caring for any bizarre looks she got. This was the League, her home, she could always bring them into the Punishment district's floor and show them real terror. Suddenly swerving in front of one cat, she stopped them in their tracks, "Hey, this is a costume party. Costume. Party. What's the point in coming if you're not gonna dress up? Come on, I'll help you find something."
SUNCLAN Foxstar laughed at his assessment of the herbs. "If you think that's all that's in them, then you're not half as good at identifying herbs as you think." That he'd managed to identify any, however, was a surprise, and she made a note of it. "And who says I'm here to kill everyone with these? If it were only that, I could have made something much harder to detect. What's the fun in killing the party if everyone knows they're going to die from the prey?" Her gaze drifted to the form of Reprise in the background, and her smile turned more vicious. Try as she might to hide it, the Priestess could see that spark of worry in the League cat's eyes, and it greatly amused her. A league cat scared of her? Oh, that was funny. "Who's the little shadow behind you? She seems to want to join in."
DAYCLAN Fia hadn't bothered to dress up. Really, she didn't see much the point in it. Her light and dark mixed ashen fur, with fiery ember flickers beneath her long coat were already enough of an eye catcher anyhow. Gilded amber eyes turned to the form of the cat stopping them, the newly named Immortal Council she-cat's expression blank and rather bored. "Who said I wanted a costume?" Fia Cendrillon questioned, gazing at the she-cat before her. Beneath all the fabric, she couldn't tell who this cat was, but something about her struck her with familiarity. Probably just imagining things.

{Primal Instinct}
She had a point, he could only shrug. "No, the blood on your muzzle is too potent to just be a little mint and the like. Though it does a good job of masking everything else in there." But come on, he got three out of like seven. That was impressive. It was a rare opportunity to show off his only party trick. Not that he expected to leave Foxstar overly impressed, "and yeah, surprise is the more popular way to poison someone. But isn't there something thrilling about doing something so blatantly, so openly. Like it's so obvious no one can believe it until it's too late or is that just me?"
Funk wasn't comfortable, far from it when Reprise appeared behind him. For even as the siblings weren't the closest, a pang of fear for her ran through him. Foxstar was the kind to kill his family if it came down to it, and while it wasn't the case now, he had no idea what the future held or what Fox's modus operandi was tonight. Though lying to his fellow leader wasn't too unusual, something about the idea of doing it now sent a shiver up his spine. "Oh, hello Reprise. Foxstar, Reprise. Reprise, Foxstar. Reprise is a rather new recruit, so she's not too familiar with the ways of the League yet. I met her up at the city, friend of a friend if you will. She's a most beautiful songstress." Stepping back a little, he smiled and case a glance back at Reprise that only said one thing. Go along if you know what's best for you.
~~~
Lorelei couldn't answer right away. Even after the other caught her eye and she started the conversation, she was struck with familiarity as well. A grey and black coat, light amber eyes like flames, she was so familiar but at the same completely not. It was a strange feeling for the calico, moreso that her mind could only scramble for an answer. Just who was she? She'd have to stay at this one's side until she found out.
"Hey, don't be like that. What's not to want about a costume? It's like you can be someone else entirely, like me, pirate zombie Manina. Haha." Lorelei laughed, striking a little pose until a thought struck her. "Wait, here." Lowering her head down, she pawed at the eye patch on her head. It was a quick pirate costume after all, and maybe that dinged up hat she saw in Internal Affairs was still around. Pulling it off, she lifted her head, dark blue eye now exposed and shining copper just a little. Seeing the she-cat a little clearer, Lorelei was all the more confused. Pulling the eyepatch string around one of her paws, she brought it up to Fia.
SUNCLAN Foxstar watched the interaction with the slightest smirk on her face. "Oh, really? Must be, given the audacity to walk right up to you." Her voice was cool and dangerous as she eyed Reprise with a look that suggested she didn't exactly believe Funk's suggestion. Least of all because of the fact they were two bengals in close proximity. Could they be unrelated? Sure, quite easily. But the actions here seemed a touch coincidental. Maybe she'd pry later. "If she needs an attitude adjustment, just send her my way. I'm sure we'd have a lot of.. fun."
DAYCLAN Fia pawed at the patch for a moment before begrudgingly wearing it. The world with one eye was much more annoying than with two, more flat and indistinct than before. How her mother managed this way, she didn't know, but she certainly preferred the dual vision she had. "Captain Cendrillon? I've heard worse, I guess. Less a mouthful than my current title." Which was true enough. Immortal Council member Fia Cendrillon was long winded and boring. At least this one didn't take half a century to say. Though looking at both the she-cat's eyes, her own flickering back copper as her eyes narrowed ever so slightly. So familiar. Ah, she'd figure it out later. Wanderingwight would be at this party somewhere. Usually she didn't want Fia to come to the League, but with an open invitation, she couldn't pass up the opportunity.
Reprise felt her fur standing on end and the heat rising to her face. The look her brother gave her the feeling he wanted her gone, but Foxstar's comment stopped her. An attitude adjustment? She didn't like the tone in Foxstar's voice, it seemed threatening. She could see this powerful she-cat killing cats, ripping at their bodies, murdering them. The thought made Reprise shiver. She didn't like anything about this cat but she tried to remind herself that there was always a reason behind ones actions, it must be pretty deep for a cat to go insane though.
Trying to keep her cool, she flicked her tail, "yeah, that's me. I'm new round here so still getting used to everything, I might be preforming a few songs tonight too... We'll see."
{Primal Instinct}
It was truly in her best interest to stay away from this. With a character like Foxstar, Funk felt like he was already in over his head, let alone how Reprise felt. Who knew why and how Foxstar managed to sneak out and come here, or why Reprise had to stick her nose in where it didn't belong, but this was merely the hand. He just had to play it. A smile with just enough mischief and malice in it, he lightly rapped Reprise over the ear, "I'll consider it for next time, Foxstar. But I'm in a good mood tonight so I'll let it slide."
Lorelei waited with baited breath, struggling to hold the patch steady when her grey and black mystery friend finally went to put it on. She bounced up happily, small strips of fabric jostling along her pelt. "It fits you perfectly! I tried getting Senescence to wear this but she just kept going 'no' in that too serious voice of her's. Anyway, I'm sure I left the matching hat up in Internal Affairs. Come on, it's this way!" She didn't wait for Fia to agree or argue, just pressing herself against her and bringing her up the stairs, "Ah, you got a title? Neat. Something actually given to you or one you gave yourself."
