The Chaman let out a yawn and continued plucking some berries that had managed to survive the floodwaters. He had been extremely busy caring for the cats that were injured in the recent disaster while also trying to gather as many herbs that could be salvaged as he could above ground. He knew he was supposed to have a Sentinel or Mercenary with him, but he figured it wouldn’t be a big deal to go out alone. Everyone was tired and he didn’t want to bother any more just for herb-picking. Plus, they would be SO bored! He let out a chuckle at his own thought and continued to pick away.
Cadet Bumble had poked their head outside to check around and see if there was any suspicious activity. She spotted the Chaman and curiously she padded over, not bothering to hide her pawsteps so as not to startle the cat. As she came up she waved her tail before sitting down and cocked her head, trying to see what the chaman was doing.

Meepo's ears pricked as he heard the sound of pawsteps. He tilted his head back to meet Cadet Bumble's gaze and gave her a soft, friendly smile. "Good afternoon." He purred kindly in greeting. "Did you decide to come out for a breath of fresh air too? Shh, we aren't supposed to be out here alone so don't tell anyone." The little tom gave her a little wink and continued his work with his ears angled towards her.
