Jetclaw Funk never asked Elyon to do this, apparently it was the Nemesis before Mother that asked her to. But he respected the small orange she-cat's determination, getting all these eyes must have been a pain. Nothing for the squeamish, he liked that in a Assassin. However, they didn't know how to keep them very well. There was next to no water in the pool, so it didn't take long for them to dry out. The ones at the top were the most intact, though they were bleached out from the sun. The ones at the bottom had their color, but were crushed into bloody pulps. Even if there was an ample amount of water, it was a hot summer, and they were gonna go bad anyway. It didn't look like they were going to stay here much longer anyway, so he pulled his blood soaked paws out of the pool.
But he had a fondness for it, and for the looks of disgust and fear he got from outsiders when they saw it. It was a powerplay, though he'd have to teach Elyon how to keep them better. "Hey Harrier, wanna go on a scavenger hunt?" He asked out loud, knowing she'd hear him.
Elyon had come heard about the eyes starting to go bad and had been heading to the pool to clean them up. At the word 'Harrier' she tilted her head as she came up to him. "Who's Harrier?" She asked. "Also did you want me to do something about the pool of eyes?" She'd been so proud of what she'd gathered but even she could tell it was starting to go bad, it was still intimidating and horrifying for outsiders to see, but it was far from quality work anymore.

"You are. Don't you know? Type of hawk. Vicious little things. They like to fly low over large fields to hunt. You see them out around the base of the mountain or over by Dayclan. Cool birds. I thought it fits you nicely. I would have given you Vulture, for this lovely display, but you're more of a hunter than a scavenger, so I went with Harrier." Voice encouraging in a softer way, he grinned at the assassin. Holding surprisingly little ill will towards her, he would now consider her the cat he trusted the most in the League despite having not known her for very long. If a Nemesis couldn't trust the knife in his hand, what could he trust? Funk's old owners were bird fanatics. Like they had a bird phase they never grew out of. It's like the horse phase, 'cept with birds. Anyway, he knew a lot and just started giving cats bird nicknames on a whim, and it just escalated from there. "Anyway, kinda. I love what you've done with the pool. Very scary, good show of your skill at the time. I'd hate to get rid of it, but it could use an update. And some water and herbs, help keep them better and the smell down."
Elyon perked up pleased that he approved of her work. "Oh yes, I'd hate for you to get rid of it as well! I can gather some herbs and bring some more water," Elyon said. "Though you'll have to tell me what herbs, I'm not a herb person I'm the... cut out eyes of your enemies sort." She said.

Funk E'tan nodded a bit as she spoke. Shame his assassin had better things to do then learn about herbs. Had to like, assassinate and stuff. Pfft. Oh well, he could take care of it. "I'll have to work on finding stuff for it. So you don't have to jump right into it. Plan it out a bit, unless you're style is more go claws to the wall. In which case, give me a few days. Maybe bring some stuff other than eyes. Claws, teeth, ears, paws, tails, whatever, I'm open." He'd still need to clean this out somewhat which was a job he wasn't looking forward too. He didn't know at the time they'd end up leaving this pool behind, but that wouldn't stop them from starting anew in their new home.
"Anyway, back to that scavenger hunt." Spinning on a paw away from the pool, "Not naming any names, but someone thought it'd be fun to steal some poisons from the greenhouse. And considering I'm the only 'herb person' around here, I'm a tad concerned. Got anything better to do than help your Nemesis cut a loose end?"
