Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
NOTE: Everyone is welcome to jump in to this role-play! You do not have to be a current member or joining springclan to jump in on this. Mission: Scour the lands of the Survivalclans in search of flood survivors to offer refuge and a home.
Blackstar poked her head into the medicine cat den in search for Fawnheart, the medicine cat. Some would say it was risky for a leader, medicine cat, and warrior to explore the abandoned lands of what used to be three clans but she wanted a small patrol and knew taking a medicine cat may be essential in case they became injured or found any injured cats in their survey.
Fawnheart was organizing herbs when she heard Blackstar poke her head into the medicine den. The cream Somali she-cat lifted her head, "Blackstar. What brings you here? Is everything alright?" Fawnheart couldnt be happier being back to doing what she loved best, being a medicine cat. Shadedstar had offered Fawnheart her position back as medicine cat when the queen arrived from living with Fallclan. It had been more than generous of him to have let her back and she was enjoying every moment of it. It was even nicer having Softpelt at her side.
Softpelt poked her head up from her nest, the white she cat having taken a brief nap.
"Oh hello Blackstar, do you need anything?" She asked stretching, she'd been up late investigating some new possible herbs she and Fawnheart were keen to try. "It was raining so much recently, we can't pick the herbs fast enough it seems! Fawnheart and I have to do shifts to sort and organize the massive loads we're finding." The fluffy she cat said with a light laugh.

In the middle of camp Cardinalsong was washing himself, he'd heard the leader might be taking a patrol out to the survival clan and was hoping to be chosen to go. It sounded interesting.

Blackstar flicked her ear in greeting to each of the cats and nodded. Ever since she had stumbled across Brackenhawk and grown closer to him, she had not been able to get the flood of the survivalclans off of her mind. There could be so many others like him who were struggling, stumbling, and surely dying without help. Sick, starving, terrified, and homeless. She had briefly felt what it was like to be driven out of your home and she could remember the way her father had driven cats out of Springclan based on their lineage. "I'm going to take a small patrol to search for flood survivors. Fawnheart, I want you to come with me. We will bring one other warrior so we can move fast but I need a medicine cat in case we find injured cats. Softpelt, you'll need to stay here and help look after the camp with Thistlemask."
"Of course, Blackstar" Fawnheart dipped her head, respectfully. Fawnheart could just see a little bit of the camp around Blackstar's frame at the entrance to the den and she could just make out Cardinalsong. He looked bored. "Why dont we bring Cardinalsong along with us? Hes a strong warrior and will be useful if we have to carry anyone back. Not to mention his friendly demeanor. He has a way of making cats trust him." Fawnheart twitched her whiskers in amusement as she spoke about Cardinalsong. She had been there when the kit was born and is very proud of how he turned out.

She nodded thoughtfully, pleased with the medicine cat's decision. "You are right about that, good thinking." She strode out of the den and called out the warrior's name. "We are going to look for survivors in Survivalclan territory and I would like for you to accompany us. This is optional, would you like to come along?" Of course, she could order him but she would rather have someone along who actually wanted to be there.
