Calamityshrine licked one paw and drew it over his ear in boredom as he waited for the others to join. They were going on a completely normal border patrol that wasn't going to be interesting at all. These kinds of things were boring to the deputy, but he knew work was work and it needed to be done. The black tom glanced up at the sky, wondering what time they were supposed to meet anyways. He wasn't exactly the best at keeping track of these things.

"Sorry I'm late Calamityshrine! Wait am I late?" The voice belonged to Mountainspirit, the large white tom glanced around noting that he was the first to arrive, his Patel grey and orange patches seeming to dance on his pelt as his clear blue eyes turned back to the deputy. "Maybe I'm early." He purred with a smile, he was one of the few senior warriors in the clan and although he took his work very seriously he was about as friendly as one could be.

"Uh, good question." The deputy meowed, titling his head a little as he spoke. "I'm just going to say yeah, you're early." He flashed the senior warrior a cheeky smile before peering around. "Any idea where the others might be?"
Seablossom had been hesitating to join in on patrols, but she hadn't been given much of a choice. She'd need to learn the territory she now called home, but also pull her own weight. The ex-leader had been assigned to this patrol with the hopes of getting her better acquainted with her clanmate sand the land. Really, she just wanted to stay here with Amberpaw. "Hello..." Her voice was barely above a whisper, nowhere near how it had been before her life had been changed. Seablossom kept her tail wrapped tightly around her as she took a seat near the other two cats.

"Seablossom! It's good to see you." Calamityshrine beamed as the she-cat approached. "How are ya fairing in Fallclan? It's different, huh?!" The former Waterclan tom had found it easy to adjust to his new clan, but he had been a drifter before he found Waterclan. He appreciated Fallclan accepting him and the others so willingly. "So uh... Does anyone remember who all is supposed to be going on this patrol?" He questioned cheekily.
"I think this is all of us." Seablossom wasn't sure how she felt about FallClan yet, her heart still yearned for her old home. A home now lost to the waters of their land, fitting that the water-filled territories would be brought down by a flood. She was just as appreciative as the others for a new home, even more so in her recent state. Kits were hard enough to raise alone, homeless was on a completely other level of difficulty. The ex-leader wasn't far in her pregnancy and had announced it to anyone, not even her beloved younger brother.
