Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She laid in the sun, feeling the warmth it gave her. Gardeniacrown’s side rose and fell slowly. Her eyes were half closed as she basked in the sunlight. The hints of leaffall were beginning and she wanted to take in the sunlight the best she could before it would grow cold and colorless. Her tail tip twitched back and fourth, a sign she was definitely still awake. The orange cat then split her jaws with a wide yawn, her teeth making a small click as she snapped them back together.
Why was he such a mess? A constant question that raced through his mind, a question without an answer, of course. Maybe he was just too closed off. Too distant from his Clanmates. He should probably get out there, huh? Emerging from the apprentices den to a day where his nose wasn’t stuffy from the constant pollen that hung in the air, he gingerly padded towards the prey-pile, snatching a mouse. Glancing around camp, Sunflowerpaw caught sight of the She-cat, Gardeniacrown, wasn’t it? Deciding split second, he grabbed a second mouse and walked over, stopping a tail-length short from her. Maybe he shouldn’t do this. He didn’t even know her! What if she didn’t want to talk to him? Oh, she probably didn’t. What was he even doing?
Growing suddenly hot, he stumbled a few steps back, taking a seat to calm his heart as it began to race.
Her eyes opened as she saw a slight bit of movement. That was when she caught sight of Sunflowerpaw, and waved her tail. “Hey there, kiddo. Need something?” A smile slipped across her lips, her eyes inviting and bright.
“I—Uh—I—“ he stammered, completely dumbfounded for a good few moments. What should he say? What should he do? Oh, boy, she was really judging him now. Oh StarClan she hated him. “Just—just wondering if you wanted to—uh—have a . . . mouse . . . with me?” His voice grew tighter at the end, a shy, forced smile appearing on his face. “I get it if you don’t, I totally understand, I’m not forcing you or anything. Uh, I’ll just go somewhere else, okay? Yeah—yeah sorry!”
