Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Amberpaw had been called away to talk to the staff of FallClan. It left anxious Seablososm to worry what he'd think of everything, how he was adjusting. Her mind wandered to her mate; lost and..she didn't even know if he was alive. If Ivorycrown was alive, if her nephews were alive, if Wildpaw..., if Frostaw.., if Graypaw....
The worry was evident on her face, in her body language. The poor she-cat was matted, her fur dull and eyes lifeless. Her whole life had changed and she had no idea what she was doing anymore.
Though..did she ever?
Petal green eyes looked back towards the leader's den. It'd been less than a minute ago that Amberpaw had been called in there, and already she wanted to be by his side again.
As the clan staff were having their meeting, Poisonrush sat in the clearing observing the clans activities. He scanned around until his eyes laid upon a cat who looked disheveled and...lost. Something seemed off about the she-cat. Her body language said it all. Rising to his paws it, he calmly padded toward her. "Are you okay," he called out to her in a hushed voice as to not draw any other cat's attention but hers. It only felt right that he'd try and help her if he could.
(Sorry got busy with school and haven't had time to get on!)
Seablossom nearly jumped out of her fur when she heard another voice. The she-cat had been far too focused on waiting for her little brother to come back that she didn't hear, or see anyone else come up. "Oh!..did...did you say soemthing?" She was a little embarrassed to have to ask since she really should have been paying better attention to the world around her. But she'd been so lost in her own head as of late, one couldn't blame her considering all that'd happened recently.
He gave her an apologetic smile. "Sorry about that," he said, "I didn't mean to startle you. I was just checking up on you. You seemed sort of...out of it," he explained. He hesitantly sat down near her. "Are you okay?"
"I..." Physically or mentally? To either question, Seablossom couldn't answer. Physically, she looked a mess, hadn't been eating right and sleep..sleep was a long-forgotten concept. Mentally,...she'd always been a mess mentally. Her eyes darted back towards the den, half hoping Amberpw would just walk back out so they could go hide somewhere again. To her, anywhere out of sight, out of mind was just perfect. The ex-leader felt like a failure and on top of that, an invader of another's home. "I suppose...."
He shook his head and rose to his paws. He was getting the vibe that she was waiting for someone, from the glances she made toward the den. "I'm sorry," he said, "it's not my place to ask." Glancing back at the den, he said, "He should be out shortly." before padding toward it.
