Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The fluffy ebony tom wove his way to the surface and carefully exited the tunnels, looking around with his ears alert. The flood that had taken away the Survival Clans had not spared their land, either: they were further from the start and the damage was less extensive, but he could immediately see the churned mud where bushes had been uprooted and downed limbs fell across the surface. The tunnels had been built carefully to minimize the danger of floods, but there was nothing the cats could do to stop the surface from being destroyed. Fortune sighed, his tail drooping as he looked over the desolation. They would need to clear some of the rubble, and that would waste time and energy. If they were lucky, most of the prey had survived and would find new homes nearby, but he worried they would be low on prey now. And with leaf-fall bearing down soon, he could only hope they found what they needed before then.

“Oi. What are you doing?” A young voice piped up from behind the tom. Cadet Rose stood looking at him through narrowed eyes that spoke nothing but sass and wit in their jade depths. She waited for an answer with one paw propped up on a log that found its way to the Regime from the flood.
"I'm looking at all the damage from the flood," he told her, turning to look at Cadet Rose with a warm smile. "You see that tree limb there, caught in the bush? There used to be the most beautiful flowers growing there." Fortune sighed. "I hope they grow back near year."

Cadet Rose snorted and stalked up to stand next to him. "Looks like a water-rotted log to me." She sniffed and flicked her tail dismissively. "There are plenty of pretty flowers in the Garden. Why not look at those?"
"I do sometimes, but I like to look at lots of different flowers. And if I'm looking around over here, everyone assumes I'm doing my job." Fortune winked. The mercenary didn't have the easy excuse of claiming he was just hunting, but he could usually come up with an explanation for sitting around if he needed to. "Don't you like flowers?"
