Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
His curly fur turned out against the crisp morning air, Bardkit was scowling at the prey laid out before him. He'd positioned it in a clump of discarded moss near the edge of camp, and was crouched down low facing it: his scowl wasn't out of anger, but his most focused look, as his thin brows pulled together and the bridge of his nose furrowed. It was a cold day, and the wind was still, and he thought those were both points in his favor: a mouse couldn't smell him well if the wind didn't carry his scent, right? He wasn't really sure, but this mouse was already fresh-kill, so it didn't really matter. He sidled closer like a snake, barely skimming above the ground, before he leaped.
Bardkit tackled his prey and rolled over, holding it high in the air and tearing into it with his jaws, then laughed loudly. "Got ya!"

A little giggle erupted from nearby where Cavernkit was munching on his own bit of prey. "Congratulations. It's a good catch!" He purred with a humorous twitch of his whiskers. The former Waterclan kit had just become used to Fallclan, but he hadn't had the chance to get to know anyone yet. Maybe Bardkit would be a good friend to have? He hoped so!
Bardkit smiled widely up at him. "Thanks, friend," he purred, wiping blood off his muzzle with the back of his paw. He rolled over and sat up straight, his prey sitting beside him only a moment before he picked it up his jaws and headed over to join the other mind. "You don't mind if I join, do you?"

"Of course I don't mind!" Cavernkit purred, a little too excitedly so his voice cracked. "I haven't made many friends in Fallclan yet, so sorry about my excitement." He laughed awkwardly.
"Never apologize for being excited," he assured him, "that's what makes you fun to be around. I'll be your friend around here. Keep with me and I'll look after you." Bardkit cuffed him lightly over the ear. "How's that sound?"

The mottled brown kit's eyes lit up at Bardkit's words. "You really mean it?" He purred with a giddy wave of his tail. "Wow, thank you so much!" Cavernkit scooted over a smudge to make room for his new friend and beckoned with his tail. "I found the warmest spot in camp, guaranteed."
"Sure, why not? We have to look out for each other. You know, friends tell each other fun secrets... like the warmest spot in camp," he added with a wink, gracefully setting down into the new space beside Cavernkit. "Is this it?"
"Whatcha doin'?" came the chipper voice of Soothingkit as she approached her denmates, her stark white pelt was littered with dust and leaves but her yellow eyes glittered with joy as she them.
A spark lit within Soothingkit at the invitation and she began to dance in small circles where she stood, stopping only when dizziness began to take hold of her. "Woah, I'm dizzy." She giggled, going quiet suddenly and looking around. "I'll ne right back!" As she said it the white she-cat turned and trotted to the freshkill pile returning a moment later with a small mouse dangling from her jaws.
