Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This is open to ALL EarthClan role players! It's a means to decide what to do with your cats and to have a last hurrah with them in our dear clan. If you don't want to role play but want to make know what clan your cats have moved to or if they died in the flood then feel free to post that as well. Example: Acorncloud perished beside his sister in the flood, both refused to leave there home.)
The sky wept, soaking the mother earth. She could hold no more. Her children cried out. Yet, she could do nothing but watch as they were swept away by the tears of the sky. Some joined her, buried under the dirt and left to rest; not all were peaceful moments. The earth's heart ached for those who lived, who could no longer stay with her. This was farewell.
A flood has swept through the land, killing many and leaving others lost. It overtook the earth before she could fight back. The survival clans were no more.
Seastar had lost a life trying to help others. Another to drowning. Seven lives remained, and yet she no longer had a clan to lead. They had scattered, been swept away in the flood. She was lucky to have found Amberpaw among the waters, it'd nearly cost her to save him. But now what? What did one do when their home was no more? She could not help those she'd called her clanmates, she'd failed as their leader once again. Amberpaw and Seastar huddled close near the edge of their territory. There were others of their clan around and yet she didn't know what to say. Many were missing, others dead, some swept away and their whereabouts unknown. Slowly, some had shown up, some had left, others hadn't bothered to see who else was alive. Because that all this group was, seeing who was alive, who of their families still lived.
Tigerkit's clung to a piece of what remained of the nursery, water filling his ears and lungs. He wailed as he was ripped from his only leverage and flung into the rushing currents. He fought helplessly against the swirling water. He could feel his lungs screaming for air and he didnt know which way was up or down as he was tossed in the current.
/////
Toadstream had been woken with a sudden fear as water splashed into his den, destroying it and ripping him out. He struggled to keep his head above the surface, fighting against the currents. He could see his clan mates being swept away and all he could do was stare in horror. He was swept out of the camp and into the forest. Trees were toppling over as the water tugged the dirt from their roots. A tree creaked and crashed into the roaring river with a loud crack and Toadstream was jerked and slammed into the fallen tree. Suddenly, darkness took over as he was dragged unconsciously further down the flood waters.
Fallclan leader, nightclan MCA and a clumsy disaster xD

Desertkit had been sleeping in the nursery when the sudden rush of flowing water swept her from her nest, jerking her awake as water began to fill her lungs and burn her eyes, each time she coughed or opened her mouth to call for help more of the cold liquid rushed into her mouth. There was so much pain as she fought for air, her small legs kicking helplessly as the current pulled her under, panic blurring all her senses as the world began to fade.
A small light brown tabby figure lay clinging to a branch floating atop the water, his sides heaving and rough coughs racking through his body as water began to force its way back up and out of his lungs. It was a miracle the small kit was still alive, perhaps Starclan was watching over him or perhaps it was just luck seeing as so many others had not made it. Mudkits eyes were wide, his body almost too weak to move, lifting his head he could see some of his clanmates scattered in small groups and let out a tiny wail in hopes someone would notice him.
A sodden lump of ebony fur lay collapsed on the bush that had saved his life. The flood had quickly swept him away and separated him from his mate, and as the water swirled around his muzzle and choked him, he he hadn't expected to ever see her again. Then the raging water had flung him against the bush, and though it had snapped and crunched beneath him and been torn free of the ground that held it, the bush managed to keep his body afloat until it washed ashore hours later. Crownglass's eyes fluttered open with a low groan and he gagged, coughing out water, before he straightened up and looked around. Where was everyone? Where was Seastar? Fear lumped in his throat as he stumbled to his paws and headed toward the camp, calling her name.
Breezestep crouched in the low limbs of a tree, staring over the desolation of the territory in shock. In a tree on her left was her son, Pondpaw, all scowls and grim looks, though she swore she saw a hint of excitement in his gaze. Pondpaw was a good climber, and he had no difficulty escaping the water. She hadn't been so lucky, but to her surprise, her mate's former apprentice had saved her. Dorsalray had made it into a tree and grabbed her by the scruff as she swept past, then hauled her up the trunk and onto the branches. She was immensely grateful to the mostly-black tom, who just shrugged it off. While her mind swirled with worry about the rest of her family and her clan, the other warrior had mostly looked concerned about straightening the tufts of fur on his chin.
Deerpaw had been swept out with her kits into the raging waters. Fearfully she scrambled for a hold, a lifeline. She found herself on land, within the same group as Seastar and some others, but she didn't care, her eyes were searching for her kits, desperate to find the two little beings. Then she heard him. Mudkit. Alive! Hurrying to his side, the young mother dove back into the waters, ignoring the calls behind her. "I'm coming!"
Berryfrost, while swimming to safety, caught sight of her oldest son. Toadstream was being carried away, swept through the waters as though he wasn't alive. Without a second thought, the mother changed her course and quickly swam to his side. The waters did not part easily and she was not the greatest swimmer, but through sheer determination, she was able to make it to his side. Now, exhausted, she focused on keeping his head above water, making sure he lived even if she didn't.
Airecho had searched for her family on a bank away from the main group of survivors. Her heart ached for their home, their home that was no more. It ached for all those lost, young and old. It ached for her family. In her search she stumbled upon Crownglass, soaked like the rest of them and calling out for Seastar. "Crownglass!" At least she'd found someone alive, it was better than a dead body, something she was sure she'd see soon enough. A life washed away by the raging waters.
Ivorycrown didn't hesitate to swim after Tigerkit, Cougarkit, and Pantherkit. She watched them be swept out of the nursery and she'd followed right after. But each time she got close to them, the waters would rip them back apart. Once it was by a log hitting her, another time was a change in direction in which she had to fight her way back to them.

Rookback had been effortlessly swept away by the torrent, being thrown about helplessly under the water, his lungs burning for air all of the while. The usually calm and collected tom now in the state of pure instinctual panic, kicking and swiping at whatever object he passed by, hoping to grab onto something, anything. Suddenly, he felt his body collide with a huge log, literally knocking the wind out of him. 'NO!' his mind cried out desperately, even as his vision was beginning to fade. 'BLIND PROTECTOR, HELP ME! I DON'T WANT TO DIE!' As darkness began to surround him, the last thing he saw was a single paw, reaching out...
Like many lucky others, Stalkerjaw had managed to reach the safety of a tall tree branch to escape the onslaught of water, only to immediately begin leaping from tree to rock to whatever high land he could reach, following the flow of the current, following a black form bobbing in the water. "Rookback! Rookback!" His gaze scanned the water franticly, having lost sight of his brother. Without hesitation, the white tom leaped back into the water, paddling as fast as he could until he finally regained sight of his sibling, sinking into the depths. Diving under, his paw reached out, pulling Rookback up onto his back and throwing them both onto the log as they floated down stream.
"Airecho!" In spite of himself, Firetooth couldn't help but cry out in relief when he saw his sister. The Medicine Cat had ended up clinging to the trunk of the very tree that had long served as his den, for once the worry and fear for his clan and family overshadowing the loss of his life's work. There had been moments where he wasn't sure if he could hold on, especially when the water rose so much that he was completely submerged. But the thought that he would be leaving his family and injured clanmates behind kept him holding on for dear life. He sprinted over to Airecho and Crownglass, nearly knocking the she-cat over in a relieved embrace. "Have you seen mother or father? Where's Pondpaw? Are they okay?"
oh. oh no. Those were Creekghost's last thoughts as the flood swept him off his feet, his entire body swelling with the pain that comes from his allergy to water. Everything burned, everything stung. But the Waterclan blood running through his veins fought through the torture, kicking and swimming in a way that felt natural, as if it was a skill he had known his entire life. Of course, seeing that he was about to completely pass out from the pain, the tom pulled himself onto the first bit of dry land he could find, smirking to himself as he collapsed on the hard ground. He could almost hear his sister Celestialwarrior's playful laughter from Starclan; 'I knew you could do it, you fishbrain'.
What's happening to my cats (I have threads made for them too if you'd like to role play): Deerpaw to DayClan, takes the name of Deerflower upon entering the clan and saw her mother and brother while rescuing her kit but hasn't seen them since Ivorycrown to PI, she washes up there with her three dead kits that she tried to save, has no idea what's happened to the rest of her family. Seastar and Amberpaw to FallClan, Seastar becomes Seablossom again and Amberpaw is taken in as the mca thanks to his grandmother Amberksy having been a mc of EC and a sign from StarClan Airecho to SunClan w/ Firetooth and Crownglass, the three of them wonder together and find no others on their trip to SunClan, Crownglass doesn't stay in SunClan, Airecho becomes Echo then Heavenwhisper Berryfrost dies rescuing Toadstream Acorncloud and Daisyfeather die, Acorncloud is found by Airecho's group and buried
Airecho cried when she heard her brother's voice. "I..I don't know!" She'd only found Crownglass moments ago. She'd seen no one else. They couldn't even see far with the darkness of night and the sound of rushing water drowned out voices. Who had survived? Were they the only ones?
The poor she-cat may not have always gotten along with her family, even hated her two siblings for a time that'd been promoted before her, but at the moment, she'd do anything to see them all again. Even if tehy were dead, for then at least she knew their fate and wasn't left wondering, questioning, asking what if and where were they.
Crownglass looked to Airecho in relief. She wasn't the one he had been looking for, but at least she was someone; that was a thousand times better than being alone. He looked up to see their medicine cat nearby as well, and he could have purred. At least now they had a healer to treat them if they happened across an injured cat. "I haven't seen anyone but you two," the exhausted tom admitted, feeling a thousand moons old. "They could be anywhere."
Tigerkit noticed Ivorycrown and reached for his mother but each time, she was ripped away from him. He cried to her, "help! Mommy help!" But he knew his mother was trying. When he made an effort to reach for her once again, a log floated at great speed toward them and slammed into Tigerkit, rolling the kitten underneath. Tigerkit was still awake, it hadn't knocked him unconscious but his claw was stuck in the log and he was forced underneath it and unable to reach the surface. His lungs were screaming for air, bubbles engulfed him, and soon, darkness took over and his last air bubble escaped his jaws.

Toadstream was going in and out of consciousness. Each time he woke, he could feel something pulling on his scruff but he couldnt process what was happening before he was unconscious once more.
Ivorycrown didn't pause to search her kit for any signs of life. She grabbed him, his siblings and swim as fast as her paws could go, aiming for shore. The current swept her aways down, landing her into foreign territory. Pulling herself and the three little one onto land, she searched their little bodies for signs that they were alive. Her heart was broken to find hem dead at her paws.
Berryfrost breathed in water, her vision swimming but her heart and mind were determined. She'd save her kit. It was a mother thing, you'd die for them before you allowed them to die. Finding shore, she swam as fast as she could manage in her condition, but her body was barely holding on. There were bodies up ahead, living cats calling out, but she couldn't tell who they were in her foggy state. The mother paddled with the last of her strength, propelling herself halfway onto the shore and dragging Toadstream up as best she could. Seeing him safe, smiling at the thought that she'd saved at least one of her kits from death, the mother closed her eyes for the last time. The smile remained even in death.

(Cutthroat and Stonefang are the only ones who will survive. Lilyfrost, Sandkit, and Nightkit do not. Cutthroat and Stonefang will join SummerClan.)
Stonefang was outside the camp when the disaster struck. He had spent all his time searching for any survivors, hoping beyond hope he'd find all of his family safe. Not knowing what happened to them was making him frantic. During his search he came across two of his clanmates, Celestialglow and Cutthroat.
