( SO, Foxstar is finally free! Unfortunately for SunClan... their Priestess has, uh, not reacted well to her confinement, to say the least. She has pretty much been driven insane, and although she can put on a decent mask, even now, its far too apparent to the cats of the clan that things are wrong. Littlebird is trying to keep her out of the spotlight, but those who speak with the High Priestess see the leader unhinged and often talking to herself. More than that, she is very often speaking violently, and not afraid to suggest murdering her own clanmates if they get in her way. What once was a cat who was aggressive, but focused, has turned into a deranged tyrant focused on one thing, and one thing only. Burning everything around her to the ground. )
Note: When the kits are older, Foxstar intends to send them to other clans as spies. Please do not claim a kit if you won't be active. If you go inactive, they will be reassigned. <3
Everyone had been whispering for days since Foxstar's return. Heavily pregnant, and more than a little... off, things were weird with the clan, though they should have been celebrating the return of their High Priestess. The war with the Regime was off. An abrupt end that some questioned, especially given the fox-hearted leader's newfound attitude. She had been brought back.. paralyzed, an insane sort of look in her eyes, not really focusing on those cats around her. And for the past week, no one had seen her exit her den. Though a newcomer did arrive, a tom called Riverwolf who claimed to be the father of the kits. A fact which the Priestess had apparently confirmed, and the tom apparently had decided to go through initiation. Slaughterfish recognized him, both as a former clanmate, and having known he was the tom who briefly took over WaterClan before Chimerastar dethroned him.
But she'd pretty much been stuck in her den for these last days. Kept there either by watch, or by herbs if she resisted, which was almost always. Of course, there was only so much of the paralytics they could stock, let alone use on Foxstar before it became a detriment to her health. It could absolutely not be used when her kitting started, and the moment she went into labor, Littlebird was there, as was their new initiate, the litter's father, much to Condorstrike's chagrin.
Seven kits. The High Priestess curled around them, her gaze settling on Littlebird, actually seeing her, though the look was none too friendly. Eventually, however, she turned her head to name the six kittens. "Leaguerat, Burningchicken, Castawayking, Renegadenaivety, Tinymutiny, Festeringfruit, Insanityqueen." Each name was biting, an insult to a cat she would have considered close to her, and it was rather easy to pick out which was which, though she emphasized a particular one when she looked at her Promised, venom dripping from her tongue. Lost to the throws of insanity, perhaps. But even in a chaotic state of mind, her fury, her ruthlessness and lethal thoroughness could be seen. She couldn't very well spend the entirety of the litter paralyzed, and now that she was finally in a place to speak without interruption, the Priestess was quite clear in making the first proper order of her return. "You will not lay one claw on me ever again, Littlebird. Doing so will be considered treason, and will mean your death."
Foxstar had not been stripped of her title upon her return. In fact, the Sun God hadn't been seen at all. Coupled with the fact that he did not appear now to correct this order, or to tell anyone that she no longer had the favor of the deity to continue her leadership, one could presume she must be obeyed. This was perhaps the most terrifying thought of all, that the feline whose mind was no longer intact, whose thoughts were geared towards violence and destruction of everything they'd ever known... was leading SunClan itself, unchecked.
"You will thank me for all this later, even if you hate me now" the grey she-cat replied trying to maintain her authority and sense of calm despite the strangeness of this whole situation. As much as she hated it, she was started to run out of ways to keep the deranged priestess in check. Continuing on the paralytics at this point would only endanger the kits and Foxstar's health. However it had been the only way to keep Foxstar quiet enough to return her back to the clan. Littlebird wouldn't risk the crazed cat speaking nonsense and stopping her rescue mission.
The question was what to do now? The Sun God had insisted upon Foxstar's returned, and any talk of leaving her to the fate she had created had been squashed. Littlebird had gone to extremes to carry out his wishes, and now here they were. The Priestess had returned insane and ratteling off nonsense, and the only one that could stop her now had went into hiding. The Sun God had not been seen since Foxstar's return, ignoring the clan's please.
Only Littlebird stood between Foxstar and the clan now, and in order to protect the clan she would have to get creative "but no claws, got it" before the she-cat could order anything else to limit her, she left. She couldn't obey orders that she couldn't hear, and even though Foxstar was violent and crazed she could only hope that she would listen to riverwolf and at least not harm the six kits she had just birthed. She needed time to think, to plan... She needed the Sun God's help more than ever if she was going to save SunClan from utter destruction.

Ah, what lovely names. Riverwolf thought with a smirk as he watched the bundle of overly-fluffed kittens squirm at Foxstar's belly. It was an odd sight for him. He knew she had many litters, but being a 'mom' just seemed like an odd arrangement for such a cat. He had gone through the initiation, yes. Sure, The Sun God made it very well known that he was the higher deity, but Riverwolf knew he was still a god. His destiny was to rule over all the clans, there was no doubt about it. After initiation, he was left with this rambling thing made up of claws and curses. When he initially met Foxstar, she had still been sane. What had become of her?
His eyes narrowed suddenly. Castawayking? Surely that kit isn't named after me. I mean, what did I do to this poor, shambled soul. He thought his thoughts bitterly, knowing well not to speak them out loud. Foxstar was clearly insane at the moment and he had been taught to keep his cool. That is how he got so far with Waterclan, right? Don't poke the badger, just coax it with honey. "They're strong and will make good fighters for your cause." He purred smoothly to the ginger leader.

She could see Littlebird's desire to leave well enough, and excuse herself she did, dipping out moments after the order had left the Priestess' lips. Of course her traitor Promised would do something of the sort. Wanted to avoid being kept away from caging her. Foxstar was determined to keep her from doing anything of the sort any longer, so she'd have to keep and eye on the feline. She wouldn't demote her, no, Littlebird was much too valuable to risk putting her in a place to want to leave or cause a rebellion. Better of to put her in a corner she couldn't escape from.
Her eyes shifted towards the tom, the father of the litter. Ah, yes, her little failure of a WaterClan leader. More arrogant than she could ever claim to be, and not half as intelligent. "Talk too much and I'll gut you like the fish you eat." Foxstar's tone was disturbingly casual, but one blink and she seemed to be more looking through him than at him, muttering something about the useless egomaniac father of the litter, as though he weren't right in front of her.

Riverwolf's eyes widened in shock and he huffed. How dare she say something like that to me? I'm a god! He thought, but knew better to say the words out loud. His eyes drifted to where Littlebird had just left the den and he sighed. "Now what do we do?" He glanced over at the kits, grimacing slightly. He hoped they wouldn't end up failures like his other litters.

( Both Insanitykit & Burningkit are open again! )
"I was thinking these bunch would make wonderful spies, when they're older." Foxstar hummed thoughtfully. "Turn them into wonderful little actors and actresses who can keep SunClan informed of everything we might need."

At her words, Riverwolf cracked a sly half-smile. Of course that would be something she would think up, but he was all for it. "Hmm... I think that sounds like a wonderful idea. They can also keep you informed about the traitorous cats in your own clan. We can purge Sunclan of the impure."

“Of course.” He purred softly in response, his smile widening wickedly for a second before vanishing. At least she seemed to have calmed down a little bit. Who knows how long it would last...
