Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(Sorry for the wait Cyanide, last week was my first week of school, I had to soak in all that learnin' material! lol)
Gentle summer breezes gathered scents of apple blossoms, bluebells, and wheat sailing through the air. A laughter, as sweet and gentle as chimes rang through the lush scenery, "A new friend."
The voice that came from the leader came off like a soft song ending in a whisper. Descriptions of Glowstar mixed from person to person. They said her eyes were like portals into the dark forest, hellish and deadly. That her fur was like an ocean of fire and her claws were long like scythes. But one detail always remained the same, she wasn't just sadistic, she was a masochist with a pretty face. She was concretely, undeniably gorgeous, with sunkissed fur and large emerald green eyes that lit up when she smiled at him. There was such a genuine happiness to see him, as though she had known him his whole life and there was no one more she wanted to see, but him.
"Windchaser, I hope you were a nice greeter," Glowstar teased lightly before placing a paw over her own chest, "I am Glowstar and for reasons unclear to me you look delightfully familiar? Perhaps another life," She shrugged casually, but the fascination and utter glee in expression upon staring into his eyes had yet to dim.
His pale blue gaze scanned the she cat. She was right, no description he'd ever heard did her justice. With her gaze on him he felt pinned and he couldn't look away. Her voice, silky smooth even when laced with glee captivated him. "Windchaser gave the best welcome any intruder could hope for." He mewed, a purr rumbling quietly in his throat as he listened to the leader continue.
"Most that knew father said that I got the family good looks." Myst couldn't help the playful wink that he threw at the she cat. Her aurora seemed to dispel any sense of self preservation he had. Never had he been so forward with any cat, watching every word and every paw step to ensure his survival. And yet, this cat had blow in and abolished every one of those instincts.
Windchaser twitched her whiskers in amusement at her leader's teasing. The Dayclan warrior was notorious for coming across outsiders and they often recieved an unfriendly welcome by her. However, something about Myst made her feel more at ease than the rest. Perhaps it was the way he presented himself. She let out a purr when the tom complimented on her welcome. "Ah, you dont need to make it sound like I was actually nice." She chuckled. "Glowstar knows me better than that."
"Most that knew father said that I got the family good looks."
Glowstar let out a laugh too sweet for a girl with no soul. She wiped a loose tear free from her eye, "You're going to make me blush."
Her gaze settled on Windchaser with amusement before nodding to her and moving onto the discussion at hand, "So then, are you here for business or pleasure?"
"A little bit of both." He mewed, glancing at Windchaser he continued. "Like I told Windchaser, my father once called DayClan home and served as their medicine cat for a short time. He always spoke kindly of his time here so I wanted to see what kind of clan would draw such a good impression from a usually grumpy cat." His whiskers twitched with amusement as he spoke.
A smile parted across her lips like sunlight filtering through clouds, "Teheheh, I can understand that, I used to be an assassin, proxy, and deacon in Primal Instinct, but my heart just melted every time I came here."
Glowstar turned to look back at the entrance of DayClan, "Every piece of this land is like StarClan on earth, if freedom had a scent it would be the winds that flow through the fields. The sheer beauty of DayClan is woven into every fiber of this land. Untold majesty in every step you roam and it's just one of those things that sound like made up fairytales until you see for yourself. And you should." The leader ventured over to the side of camp, her head motioning for them to join her.
She sat down in front of three large rocks, "I want you to explore DayClan, mister no name, but first I wanted to show you this. I had the historians assemble it, this documents every leader, medicine cat, and legendary figure of DayClan. I don't know who your father could be, but you're welcome to search the listing. If you're satisfied though we can get going and explore."
Windchaser followed Glowstar to the rocks where the lists of their past leaders and medicine cats were listed. Maybe some day she will be up there on those rocks. She could only dream. "I could give him a tour if you'd like, Glowstar" Windchaser volunteered.
Myst blinked he'd completely forgotten to introduce himself. "I'm sorry, my name is Mysterium but most choose to just call me Myst." His gaze drifted to the stone and it didn't take him long to spot his father name. Sitting squarely between Sootstreak and Phantommenace. "Enigma is my father, I know he wasn't here long but I'm sure he'd be amused to see he is remembered." He grinned at the leader as he brought his attention back to her. "I'd love a tour of the territory if either of you have the time."
He was beginning to feel welcome in this clan. So often he was acknowledged and then shuffled off the territory be here it was different. Would this be where he made a home for himself? Surely if a cat from Primal Instinct could be a leader, he could find a place for himself here as well?
Glowstar looked to Windchaser, "Should you-" She cut her own self off watching Windchaser before pursing her lips back into a smile, "Windchaser can."
The leader typically gave the tours, mainly because she was great at it, but Windchaser seemed excited. Typically Windchaser was excited to shred outsiders in confetti so the fact that she seemed to actually be polite and friendly to an outsider was a God sent. If Windchaser wanted to give the cat a tour then absolutely, so be it.
"Show him around, but if you go to golden pastures tell him about the dogs first so he's not startled," Glowstar said brushing past Windchaser. In truth she kind of wanted to come along, but didn't want to disturb the magical moment being displayed in front of her, a future friendship in the making. She'd have plenty of time to get to know Myst some other day.
Windchaser dipped her head, respectfully. "Did you want to come, Glowstar? It wouldnt be a problem." She almost felt like she had stepped on her leader's paws in asking to give the tour instead of Glowstar.
"Oh alright, can't say no to pretty faces like yours," Glowstar said with a bashful wave of her paw.
She came to Mysts side, "Although Windchaser, you're still welcome to give the tour around the place, except for Hidden Pond, you know how I don't like to intrude there."
"Of course" Windchaser mewed, dipping her head before taking the lead. "We should go to the Endless Falls first since it's close by" Windchaser suggested, heading out of the camp and toward the roaring waterfalls.
"Great, maybe if it's not too cold I'll take a dip in the water," Glowstar purred trotting up next to Windchaser. Her head tilted ever so slightly in Myst's direction, "May I ask, where have you come from exactly?"
