DIVINEPAW
THE CURIOUS - NIGHTCLAN APPRENTICE
Divinepaw had been out hunting, which wasn't all that unusual. However how he managed to keep his paw was quiet remarkable. This is his tale:
Divinepaw dropped down into a hunter's crouch, his muscles sliding over his frame smoothly as he moved. His blue eyes moved back and forth watching the mouse before him as it skittered at the edge of the bush. The muscles in his back legs bunched to leap into the air, but just as he was about to make his move, an owl came swooping down from above. As it landed on the mouse, a loud snap filled the air.
Divinepaw scrambled backwards in complete and utter shock, as a shiney metal object closed around the owl sending blood splattering into the air. He let out a high pitched shriek that echoed through the woods.
Squirrelleap hearing the shriek looked up from his hunt. Concerned he abandoned the hunt and headed over to the source. Spotting Divinepaw standing stiff and wide eyed he hurried over to him. "Divinepaw? What happened-" He looked towards where Divinepaw's gaze was locked and noticed blood staining the tree. "What in StarClan's name," He followed it down and stared at the owl. What the-?
