Why was is it so difficult to find a single she-cat that fit his high standards? He didn't think he was asking all that much. All he wanted was a sweet NightClan she-cat through and through, that would love him as much as he would love her. He was handsome, a skilled warrior, protective, and would be a great father. However he had one major fault that made it rather difficult to find the love of his life, his distrust of outsiders.
He couldn't bring himself to ever get close to anyone that wasn't fully from NightClan. He had seen the horror stories unfold to many times. The alluring stranger coming in an stealing hearts, only to break their trust. No he needed someone that he could give his heart fully to with no reservations. Someone that wouldn't mind his over protectiveness.
(Just getting back into roleplay so excuse any weirdness!)
If he wanted a Nightclan she cat, you weren't going to find many like Tundrastorm. Her Nightclan bloodline runs deep, tracing back to her ancestor Arcticstar, a cat whom she looked so much like. The pretty brown and white she cat was laying next to the nursery entrance, a den she currently made her home in but she'd move back to the warriors den any day now. Frostykit had grown old enough that he didn't need her there every waking moment. Her paws were itching to get back to warrior duties.. in fact..
Her pale blue eyes scanned the makeshift camp, wondering if any cat was looking for a hunting or patrolling partner.

Spiderfang sighed, moving away from the pool of water that he had been staring into, deep in thought. As much as he would like to lay there just thinking about all of his worries, his clan needed him. After the recent earthquake and move to the new cenote camp, the clan was scrambling to refill their freshkill pile and gathering building supplies to make this place feel more like a home. Nests needed to be built, hole patched, tunnels widened.
He had been about about to head out on his own, but some movement by the nursery caught his eye. Normally he wouldn't ask a queen to acompany him, but the clan needed ever available set of paws and her kit was old enough that it should be ok for her to take a few short excursions out into the territory. If nothing else, she could help him carry supplies and food back if he did the gathering
"Tundrastorm" he greeted gruffly "I'm about to head out to do some hunting, and was wondering if you would like to come along. I was hoping to bring back some prey and nest building supplies, but I won't be able to carry it all on my own"
Even though she was looking for someone to approach, the she cat jumped hearing her name meowed by the tom. Still, her tail was sweeping across the dusty ground in excitement. "I'd love too." She was on her paws and shaking out her pelt before a few more heartbeats could pass. "As long as you don't mind me working out the kinks after being stuck in camp for awhile?" She tilted her head questioningly at the tom, her blue eyes scanning him quickly.

"of course it will take you some time to readjust" he purred light heartly. Even though he had a hard time trusting outsiders, he considered her to be part of the clan. She had a family here, ties to keep her from leaving any time soon. "Having kits is a big help to NightClan, and a great sacrifice" his words probably sounded a little strange, but with so many people in his life just up and leaving it would take a while for anyone to worm their way under his walls
