Snap. The soft, familiar sound of the cracking of bone between teeth made Chiharu's ear lightly twitch. It had been a swift and clean catch, something anyone would have been proud of, and admittedly she was also pleased with the result. In the heat of the day it was rare to see a mouse scurrying about, but perhaps thirst, or maybe even good health had made it reckless. Within moments of catching sight of its movements through the blades of grass, the combatant has killed the creature in a swift and confident catch.
