(Spot sorry for the delay fam! I'm really excited for this change to how Frozen's and Burning's kits come to be . This is set a few days after the earthquake)
The earthquake had shaken the clan to it's core, and now her clanmates were all huddled in the cave behind the waterfall like a bunch of cowards. Frozenfire gritted her teeth forcing her way through the forest.
The forest had been changed, shifted, and she hated it. Hated the change, and hated her clan's weakness in response to it.
It took her far longer than she'd like to reach the border and when she did she sat down trying to control her heart which was racing despite herself. Even she wasn't unfazed by the great shake that had turned NightClan's land from the familiar place she called home to something different.
"I was beginning to think Nightclan had gone extinct" came an unfamiliar voice on the other side of the border line. In the dim light of the thick forest, a large tom was licking his paw and drawing it over a torn ear. He then set his paw down and looked in her direction, his fireball eyes seeming to glow. He approached Frozenfire, his muscles rippling under his striped pelt at every large stride. "Unless, of course, Starclan sent me a Nightclan angel." His voice was smooth and rang with amusement as his lips pulled back into a crooked heart skipping grin.
At the sound of the unfamiliar voice, Frozenfire immediately bristled and turned towards it, fur fluffed out and teeth barred. Blue eyes blazing with fire, putting on her most intimidating appearance for a moment, before his compliment hit her and she blinked. A bit surprised at first before she let out a chuckle, her fur relaxing as she lifted her chin. "While I am no angel, I am Frozenfire, a mighty NightClan warrior. Though some of us were killed in the earthquake, I am one of the mighty few to survive." The rest were all cowering in a clearing eyes darting between the ground below them making sure it didn't start shaking, or watching the trees at the edges of the clearing as if watching them alone would keep them from being shaken down if the earth decide to shake again.
"And who are you stranger?" She asked tilting her head padding closer, "I haven't seen you around before... I would've remembered." She said casting an appreciative glance over him.
"Well, it wouldnt surprise me that you would make it out of that earth quake alive. You seem like a pretty strong and independent she-cat," he purred. "Hmmm...Frozenfire, the mighty Nightclan warrior who conquered the great earth shake. Has a nice ring to it." He mewed, nodding his head. "My names, Driscal. Unfortunate that you haven't heard of me. I'm a mighty hunter of Primal Insrinct." He puffed out his chest. "Though, now that I say that outloud, it doesnt sound as cool as it did in my head." He gave her an embarrassed grin.
Frozenfire's let out a purr, "Yes it certainly does." She adored the praise he laid upon her. Though her ears did prick forward at the mention of Primal Instinct. But she only grinned. "Well Driscal, I think you are a mighty fine hunter of Primal Instinct. What brings a hunter of the infamous league this far? Looking for easy pickings?" She asked. "If you are you've passed up MoonClan," She said with a mrrow of amusement.
His lips pulled back into a handsome crooked grin and he puffed out his chest again, "Well, thank you!" Then he let out a chuckle, "As much as I enjoy easy pickings, it seems as though the clan cats like to think that is all we think about. Eh, I've come to scout. No offense. Primal Instinct is looking to expand and when we heard about this earth quake, I just had to come and take a look. Seems like all the clans survived. Lucky for them, I guess." He circled Frozenfire with a flirtatious gleam in his eyes, "I came looking for territory but it seems as though I have found something better."
