Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Humming was something that Bloodrose did constantly. It wasn't exactly a normal thing for a cat to do, especially a warrior, but she had grown up in the city. She had learned it from her sister, and she hummed anytime she was alone. The current melody was light-hearted as she deftly collected moss for nests.
Meadowlark stepped carefully through the forest and the deeper he went, the deeper he fell into his own mind. Eventually, his paws were leading him, with his mind was no longer paying attention. Suddenly, he knocked into Bloodrose and it threw him back into reality. He backed off slowly and shook his head free of the cobwebs of his thoughts; finally he focused on whom he had knocked into. Meadowlark dipped his head in apology. "S-sorry." he stuttered. "Sorry to interrupt you. Oh, are you collecting moss?" he asked, as he glanced over towards the pile she had already collected. "Well, I was heading out this way to do the same. Can I help carry some back?" he asked with a friendly smile. "In return for the accident, of course.." he trailed off.
She gave him a warm smile in return. "It's okay! If you want, you can collect feathers instead while I collect moss. They'll help with the colder weather." Her voice was just as light and floaty as the song she had been humming.
He nodded, and strayed away for any scent of bird. Usually the forest was covered with their scent, but because of Leaf Bare upon them, they didn't move around as much. He took him a few minutes of walking to find any kind of scent. Fortunately, though, it was a live bird, and as quickly as he had scented it, it was lifeless in his jaws. He wasn't sure if he should pluck the feathers off before he brought it to an elder or queen to eat. As bare bird wasn't as as appetizing, he decided to just pluck a few off and bury the catch for later. A few paw steps away however he was able to find the bird's nest, which was luckily empty, but covered in it's own feathers. He trotted back to Bloodrose with a full mouth of feathers and the bird he has caught. "Do you fink this will be enuff?" he asked, his voiced muffled.
