Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Spritefairy had always preferred the nighttime over the daytime. Did that make her a bad fit for DayClan? Perhaps, but she would dwell on it no further - there were bodies to be disposed of. That sentence would probably be a cause for alarm from any other cat, but Spritefairy was one of DayClan's official gravediggers, and she generally preferred operating under the cover of darkness. There tended to be less freaked-out apprentices spying on her that way.
"C'mon, you sack of lard, get in the hole," she muttered, trying her best to drag a corpse into one of the grave's she'd dug. The body in question was actually rather skinny - she guessed it was a rogue who had died of illness and just dropped dead one day, and she'd rather have it covered instead of polluting DayClan's nice clean air with its nasty corpse-germs. "StarClan help me, would it kill you to just move with me a little here?"
"Isn't this like... You're job or something?" Zephyrglade asked.
The blue grey tom was wiry and tall, a grandson of Glowstar which was easy to tell given how much he excelled in DayClan becoming a Bright Brigade warrior. Luckily he wasn't the arrogant type to point it out, but he was the judgmental type who was questioning whether Spritefairy could even do the jobs she had signed up for. Really he was just asking if he could help, but had a funny way of phrasing it. Zephyrglade watched Spritefairy a moment more and must have realized she may get mad at him and quickly added, "Cause if it is you're doing terrific, Spritefairy," He said with a slow lazy smile like he couldn't be bothered to fix his own bad wording so he covered it up with a compliment.
