Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The plot has begun. This thread will start with Lilith publicly making Sigmund out to be incompetent and promising to bring Primal Instinct to further glory. Something that she believes Sigmund is incapable of doing. As you guys know, and if not then you know now, Sigmund is known in Primal Instinct for being paranoid and practically insane. So it would not be abnormal for people to agree with Lilith on this.
This being said, people will side with Lilith and agree that Sigmund is incompetent ultimately forcing him into prison. Lilith will then take over the league and even more fun will occur when this happens.
It was no secret that the solid white nemesis with the missing ears had vanished into the night. Not even so much as a word spoken to anyone before leaving, not even to her best friend and confidant, Sigmund. As the days turned into weeks, the sliver of hope that Mother E'tani would return one day was slowly dwindling, and not even their best trackers could find a single hint of where the she-cat could have disappeared to. Even Senescence, who tended to know where all missing Primal Instinct cats ran off to, was at a loss. Mother E'tani was gone, and Sigmund hadn't done anything but mope about it. The paranoid tom shouting the spooks had done away with her and continuously sending Primal Instinct hunters out on a wild goose chase. All the while the proxies allowed him to do this, and had even entertained the idea that Mother was possibly kidnapped rather then simply ditching her responsibilities. It sickened the internal affairs huntress. Why were proxies so gullible? Loyal to their nemesis to the bitter end, even to those like Mother who had no loyalty in return. She couldn't help but recall the proxies that had dedicated their very lives to her mother up until the day she died. Shame. Rickon. Then one who was still alive to this day, Senescence. Where did all that loyalty get them? Rickon executed by Severine E'tani soon after Roxanne's supposed death, Shame killed for treason soon after, and Senescence stripped of her title, only being allowed to live due to a shaky alliance forged between the former nemesis and her mother. Eshek... Lux... Innocentia... they were all heading towards the same fate as every proxy before them, and Senescence? How could she be as stupid as to make the same mistake twice. Would they ever learn? Well, there was one who had learned. Green. She had abandoned her mother for Dayclan. She had left her mother to die after pledging Severine E'tani her support as long as the ruthless nemesis spared her kits. Her mother's best friend had been the one to stab her in the back. Hiding behind the name Glowstar for years, acting as if she hadn't murdered thousands while serving under Primal Instinct and hadn't thrown her entire home to the wolves. She was no saint, and it sickened her how many clans treated her like she was one and had allowed her to get away with no consequences for her actions. All this being said, she wasn't about to murder Mother's proxies. No, she was not a dictator like Severine who murdered just because she was scared. They would all be given a choice, join her or lose everything. Something that most nemesis's wouldn't be generous enough to give.
What a coward.
The anger on her face quickly vanished as Matias appeared through the doorway of The Main House. The disfigured tom settling down in front of Lilith with a dip of his head in greetings.
"Did you do what I asked you to do?"
Matias slowly nodded his head. "Yes, the league should be arriving soon. They believe Sigmund to have called a meeting, as you requested."
"Good." She launched herself onto the tall padded chair that sat in the middle of the run down living room preparing for the districts to pour in at any moment. The place was practically filthy, but she'd worry about fixing that when she ruled the house. Lilith knew it would come as a shock that a loyal tom like Matias had switched sides. After all, Matias had been one of Mother E'tani's numerous mates, and she would have never approached him because of the clear loyalty and respect that he had for the former nemesis. No, he had been the one to approach her, fearful that Sigmund would ruin everything that his beloved had worked to achieve.
"Uuhhh..... so.... uhhh... I'm going to assume at this point you're a spook.... oh god, I knew I'd be next. This is the worst day of my life. JUST PUT ME OUT OF MY MISERY!" Sigmund yowled out. The tom lifted his back leg to scratch at the balding spot behind his ear, flanked on either side by Ophelia and Sepulcher-kun. It had been rather easy to recruit these cats as well. Ophelia held a grudge against Mother E'tani for forcing her out of the Punishment District and dubbing her useless, while Sepulcher-kun was just an obedient little slave in general.
"Silent!" Ophelia hissed as she roughly shoulder the tom into Sepulcher-kun causing him to rip off a scab that had begun to form on the irritated spot behind his ear. Sigmund quickly shut his mouth with wide eyes and a vigorous nod of his head. Now all that was left to do was wait for the others to arrive. This would be a new dawn for Primal Instinct, and Lilith would be at the reigns following in her mother's pawsteps.
His original plan was to not attend at all. He was far to busy for silly political matters, he had tunnels to dig and ghosties to avoid, after all. But really? What was the harm? It had seemed somewhat worth the time, considering it was a meeting where almost everyone in the League would attend. Though he wasn’t the best at navigating this idiotic mansion, he did eventually find his way to where they were suppose to meet—after getting lost a few times, mind you. He didn’t usually enter the mansion, much preferring being away from the possible soul-suckers and evildoers. He wondered if the ghosties would find him here, and then he realized that was an idiotic question. Of course they would, they always did.
Feeling his extremely knotted fur stand on end, the countless ghostie eyes fixating themselves upon him, he let out a warning hiss and sped up. Shaking out his fur once he got to his destination, he entered the room with such grace, such style, that one would be left speechless. Indeed he had tripped in, distracted by the faint whispering that sounded in his ear.
“Behold Exsperavit.” He gave a crooked smile, his teeth yellow and broken, “It is I. Now what is it that you need waste my time with your foolish games, mortals?”

(oh hecc it’s the new gorl)
Her pawsteps were light and delicate on the lifeless floor, a small tiptoe if grace that made its way through the halls of the mansion. Absently wondering what this meeting could possibly be about—which the most notable option was those spooks that crazy coot kept yelling about. Would this be worth anyone’s time? Unless they had answers on the disappearance of Mother E’tani, but she highly doubted that. They would have found her already, would they have not?
Entering the room softly, her cream point pelt groomed perfectly, Dollie noticed she was early. Nodding her head in respect to everyone in the room, she chose a spot to sit near the door.
Eshek was the first proxy to arrive, belly slightly swollen with the pregnancy she’d rather not talk about unless you’d like a brand new disfigured spinal column, thank you very much! She padded slowly into the living room, eyes drifting slowly around the room - barely noticing Exsperavit and Dollie, despite the former's usual antics - before settling cautiously on Lilith; she forced down the instinct to pin her ears back, unsettlingly aware of the tension prickling in the silent house like a thousand little needles. It was a terrible habit of hers, to make herself out to be so careless and thoughtless and wild just because she was afraid of anyone expecting something of her, just because it was easier to make herself out to be stupid and rash than it was to accept the certainty of failure and what someone believing in her intelligence might cost her when she inevitably lets them down.
Now, she knew something was wrong, and every one of her instincts told her to make herself harmless and play along. Wherever Mother had gone, she wasn’t coming back, and that left them all dangerously exposed to anyone who wanted to try their hand at tyranny. She didn’t want to be a casualty… and she didn’t want her kits to be either.
The proxy padded slowly passed the acting Nemesis with her chin raised, not sparing him a glance, and stopped in front of the chair, dipping her head to Lilith. “Well,” she began, careful and even and just cold enough to be respectfully submissive, “you certainly aren’t Sigmund. Much too lovely.” Eshek smiled briefly; it didn’t reach her frightened eyes. She was uncomfortably aware of Sigmund being detained behind her and forced herself not to look, not to flinch; her eyes never left Lilith’s, even as her paw trembled. She laid her other forepaw over it and dug her claws in to stop herself shaking. “Whatever’s going on, I hold no loyalty to the old order. I hope you’ll keep that in mind.”

Funk had heard word of the meeting and spent a few minutes laying on the floor of his room like he could just sleep through it somehow. But he never did. So he was surprised when he came early, Pesmerga-chan nipping at his heels. Brief nods were given to Exsperavit and Dollie, but his eyes landed on Lillith. Not acknowledging Pes’ climb up him before settling on his shoulders, he hopped on one of the sofas and lied down.
“Let’s go Lillith. We don’t have all day.” He said simply, not acknowledging the fact that Sigmund was held back, or that Mother had disappeared without a trace. The only other thing catching his eye was Eshek’s trembling paws. She seemed different, must be taking too many portions. But his eyes were glued to the side of her head, twinkling like he dared her to make a move.
It was a gross underestimation to think Senescence hadn't seen this coming. From that very first meeting, it was easy to tell Lilith had an agenda, one that almost certainly started with becoming Nemesis. In fact, she was rather behind schedule. The Proxy had figured Sigmund would have been found dead at least a week ago.
She appeared from seemingly nowhere, sitting herself near enough to where Lilith was to be able to converse, but not so close as to necessarily be associated with what was happening. Yawning, she leaned down into a leisurely stretch, not seeming the slightest bit worried or irritated by what the member of her district had done. "So you do aim to follow in your mother's steps after all." Senescence commented blandly. "You certainly took your time doing it."
The rust and shadow she-cat offered nothing more to Lilith as she laid down, making herself quite comfortable. She was the sort of feline who did as she wished, and rarely, if ever, made her loyalties or intentions known. Senescence simply was, and thus far, she'd survived well enough, why bother changing?
Bouncing up to the gathered cats, Exsperavit couldn’t help but agree with that one guy. “Yes, yes, we really don’t have all day, do we? No, no.” He tsked, settling down beside them. Bending over to bite at his ever growing bald patch, he finished with an aggressive shake of his head. “But dear mortal.” He addressed Lilith, staring at her with wide eyes. “I feel the ghosties don’t like you, or maybe it’s the universe. One thing is for certain, when the sun falls, you won’t survive.” He let out a crackled laugh, scratching at the ground with his remaining claws.
“Silly mortals.” He laughed again, his ears flicking.
Eshek slowly lowered her gaze, glancing over her shoulder at the other cats that had filtered into the room. It felt better not to be alone, and Senescence’s presence was vaguely comforting; the other proxy was always so calm, so uncaring and unruffled, and it made her feel like whatever happened, they’d be fine, because Senescence would make sure it was. To the she-cat without a mother, she imagined how she felt about the older proxy might be similar to how a kit feels, lost in the dark woods and told to survive.
With a last, small smile, she backed away from Lilith submissively and bounded over to sit beside Funk on the sofa, flicking an ear at him. “Not a word,” she muttered quietly, leaning slightly against him just to feel the warmth of another cat against her and reassure herself that he was alright; it wasn’t much comfort, and she hated him as much as ever, but she’d take what she could get. She didn’t know why she was so frightened by all this, didn’t know why she was still shaking, or why she couldn’t cobble together the usual false confidence to say something loud and obnoxious and snarky — in the last few moons alone, she’d seen no fewer than three new Nemesises, and she’d always come out of it alright. But this time felt different.
Bowing her head briefly to bump her forehead against Funk’s, Exsperavit’s little outburst was no more than a vague, dark omen that only made her heart constrict more, and she missed what Senescence said about Lilith’s mother entirely; Eshek never had been very good with the history of the League, never had been very good with anything that was outside her immediate vicinity. She was terrified at the thought of that changing, didn’t want to think about what it meant for her or anyone else — for Lucistic, Innocentia, Funk, any of them.

He didn't pay much attention to Senescence and Exsperavit, tail flicking behind him as Pes finally stopped moving. Looks like this one was more well known around here than he thought. It wasn't much of his business, he had enough worries with bouncing kits, finding a new Mage and Eshek. Though his gaze softened a bit when she stepped away from Lilith and joined him on the couch.
Okay, he hated her and she hated him. That hadn't changed in all their fights. But he felt a bizarre fondness for the proxy, proven when he just smiled at her stern words rather than just making some big spectacle of it. Wow Esh, you stealing portions from your district toms again? Heh heh. Not today though.
"Don't worry so much." He said simply, able to feel her tremors against his fur, but not moving from his spot. Any attempts at moving to comfort her would be met with resistance, so he settled for a whisper, "She's no god. We'll get through this. Besides, you heard Exsperavit. She'll die when the sun sets." He was probably too nonchalant for a cat whose leader just left without a word. Shrugging through that, he rested his head on his paws.

Brilliance-kun slunk into the meeting room, settling herself next to Senescence, not even bothering to look for Kotori this time. Far enough to where she didn't get in her way, but close enough to show she was definitely sitting with the proxy. Glancing between the two, she wondered just what was going through their heads since she missed Senescence's comments.
