Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bri let out a troubled sigh. Once again, her life was back to normal. Her mother was gone- well, at least for now. By this point, Bri knew better than to assume Shae would be gone for more than just a few moons. Until her mother's body showed up somewhere, Bri would just have to live like this was her last day without her. This meant she had to live always like she was dying. She had to live.
Yet, that was harder to do than she had intended. She had expected her mother's disappearance to lift a great weight off of her chest, but it didn't. In fact, she'd become nervous, like behind any corner, she would find Shae. It had to stop. She couldn't continue to be like this, right?
"Get it together, Bri," she muttered to herself, before she came to the entrance of the camp. She didn't know what she was going to do, where she was going to go, but she needed to do something right now.
A flash of golden pelt brushed up beside Bri with a casual smoothness that seemed in complete contrast to the other combatant's anxiety and growing impulsiveness. "Were you going out somewhere?" The question and the tone that prodded it seemed calm and friendly, the sort of every day greeting that posed no real curiosity and no real concern. Chiharu's mannerisms seemed to indicate that of just another absentminded group-mate, however, in the depths of her ever revealing eyes there seemed a hint of concern and genuine intrigue that seemed to show she suspected more than her actions let on.
She let out a breath, slightly startled by the other cat's sudden meow to her. How long had he been standing there? Bri was becoming less and less aware of her surroundings the longer the strange paranoia gripped her, which seemed pretty much the opposite of how she should be behaving. Even though she was checking the corners of the world, looking for her mother, she was oblivious to what was in front of her.
"Oh, no where in particular," she meowed after getting herself composed a little bit more. "Just out. It's a little stuffy in camp right now," she continued with a shrug. "I was thinking that a walk to the outskirts of the city might be nice, smell some air that's not polluted, ya know?" She was rambling. "Care to join?"
Despite it being more than obvious that something had the other combatant shaken, Chiharu kept a steady appearance of composure, as if she hadn't even witnessed the odd behavior. Still, her gaze seemed to soften sympathetically on the she cat, as she gave a slight nod in response to the invitation. "I'd like to actually. Anything to get out of camp and stretch my legs away from the hustle and bustle of it all, and fresh air does sound nice."
With that the bengal she cat took initiative ane slipped through the camp exit, padding forward to their vaguely defined destination. She paused only for the breifest of moments to glance back at Bri to assure herself the other she cat was followibg behind her, before keeping onward at a steady stroll.
