She lifted her head, scenting the air nearby for any suspicious or odd scents. Adventurepaw wanted to be sure that there wasn't anything nearby like a fox or a badger to jump out at her before she stepped across the border into rogue territory. There were few adventures to be had inside of the territory these days so she would really rather wander beyond the borders to find out what awaited the tabby she-cat.
He couldn't help but to tremble, as he glanced around nervously into the thick undergrowth. His mentor had left him here to face his fears, and told him that he wasn't allowed to come back to camp until he had managed to catch something. It wasn't that he wasn't trying, but every little sound made him jump and loose his concentration. He knew there was a small mouse up ahead, one of the last creatures not scared off by all of his jumping.
He stalked forward, each step that he took uncertain but carefully placed. He was almost upon it, when he heard rustling near by. He was sure who was more scared, him or the mouse as both of them turned towards the sound with wide eyes. The mouse scurried off as Bravepaw was left frozen in fear.

Poking her head through some underbrush, the orange tabby apprentice Adventurepaw spotted Bravepaw. "Hey! I wasn't expecting to find you here! What are you doing?" She asked innocently, tipping her head to the side in curiosity. He was frozen and she could practically taste his fear scent it was so strong. Scenting the air she did not scent any cats, foxes, or anything else that she should be alarmed of. Did something happen to him. "Are you okay?"
A peircing screech filled the air, as Bravepaw scramble backwards away from the other apprentice. His heart raced, and turned to run away, to afraid for his eyes to pick up on the fact that he knew this cat "LEAVE ME ALONE" he screamed breaking into a full fledged run

Her ears fell back to her skull, surprised at the piercing screech and genuine terror coursing through her peer. "Wait! Bravepaw it's me!" She called, chasing after him. "Bravepaw come on you scaredy cat, I'm not going to hurt you!" She jumped on him as she caught up, hoping to get him to calm down for a minute.
He squeezed his eyes closed , running blindly through the under brush, when suddenly he felt the heavy weight dragging him down. He went tumbling, pulling the other cat with him until he found himself staring up at a familiar face "Adventurepaw?" he questioned, his heart still beating fast in his chest.
"I apologize, I thought... Well I thought you were from another clan" he felt the heat rising to his cheeks, knowing she would probably just make fun of him like the rest
