Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

Bruniaberry sat in the dark hollow of an oak trees roots in the waning light of nightclans territory. The brown, black, and cream she-cat stared up thrugh the trees as a glittering night sky. She had thought she calling was to be the medicine cat. She thought she was destined for greater things within her clan. A stronger purpose. But starclan had refused to acknowledge her. Did they have a different destiny marked out for her or had they abandoned her all together?
Bleakpaw had been looking for the medicine cats. He wanted to be a warrior and make his parents the former leader Shivercreek and senior warrior Gravity proud. But he couldnt deny that he was drawn to the mysteries of StarClan and the knowledge of healing. When he wasnt training he made a point to go spend time with the medicine cats if they werent busy. When he found the den empty he went out to look for Coyoteloyalty or Bruniaberry tilting his head when he found Bruniaberry.
"What is it? Is StarClan speaking to you?" Bleakpaw asked the initiate moving over to sit near her.

Bruniaberry didn't turn her gaze from the stars. "No," she replied with sadness in her voice, "They haven't spoke to me." what she didn't say was that they had never spoken to her. Not once.
Bleakpaw's ears twitched and he turned his gaze to look at her. "StarClan works in mysterious ways," He meowed. "Sometimes we don't realize they're speaking to us. But they're there. Sometimes they step back and their silence isn't so much them ignoring us, but letting us forge ahead, making our own decisions." He said.
"I remember asking my mother and other medicine cats about StarClan. Sometimes they were clear... other times not so much. None of their relationships with our ancestors was exactly the same. Perhaps our ancestors are telling you this answer you're asking of them is one you need to find within yourself?" Bleakpaw offered.

"A rather wise cat for your youth aren't you?" she shadowed she-cat meowed finally breaking her gaze from the star riddled sky. She looked over at the apprentice. "Perhaps starclan talks to you."
"I think StarClan speaks to us all... some of us just aren't able to hear them as clearly. Or see that they speak to us differently." Bleakpaw meowed. "But I do believe that StarClan, while willing to speak to us sometimes expects us just.... to take solace in their presence. That no matter what StarClan is there with us. Even if they do not influence our decisions, they are there every pawstep of the way. Supporting us, rooting for us to grow. Sometimes they might not always like our decisions, sometimes they may tell us what we don't want to hear. But... at the end of the day, our lives are ours. Our ancestors are not here to live through us. But it does help that when you feel alone, know your ancestors are watching. And that there are some up there supporting and rooting for you." Bleakpaw meowed placing his paw over Bruniaberry's a comforting gesture to make her feel better.

Bruniaberry sighed and shook her head. "Even if that is true, a medicine cat should not hear silence from StarClan." she glanced bakc at the sky before shaking loose the dismay from her pelt. "Perhaps another time then." she rose to her paws. "Lets walk Bleakpaw. Perhaps catch something."
Bleakpaw looked up at her and then he nodded getting to his paws. "Okay. I'm sure there's still a good amount of prey for us to find." He said tail raised as he looked towards the territory.
