With the move now complete and NightClan finally settled into their new camp, Burningstar had decided to extend an invitation to their allies and friends that they were welcome to come pay a visit, and enjoy the new pool of water that was now at the bottom of this massive hole, opened up by the earthquake.
Burningstar was still pregnant, due to have Coyoteway's kits any day now, but the ginger she cat was still moving around fairly well despite her heavy belly. She sat at the edge of the pool looking on as some of the cats. "Soaringbird, let me know when our guests start arriving!" Burningstar called up to her sister who was halfway up the winding path that led down into the cenote.
The silver and gray tabby looked down at her sister and nodded. "I know!"
Flickerflame was enjoying the water. The pool of water right beside their new cave system based camp was certainly a nice feature. He along with Celestialpaw were swimming around.
Meanwhile on the bank Skypaw splashed the shallow water happily the blind she cat enjoying herself.
Larkwing approached Burningstar, his gaze lit up with delight and joy. "This was a great idea, Burningstar" he purred, scanning the cenote as the Nightclan cats got everything ready for the party.
Echomelody was swimming along with Skypaw, secretly keeping a close eye on her blind friend. "I'm so excited for everyone to be here!"
Umbrapaw and Shadowfeather were returning with jaws full of prey for the party. They had been out hunting all morning, bringing in loads of prey and making multiple trips. They needed as much as they could for each pride member. The two black toms set their catch down. "I dont think I have ever seen the prey pile this well stocked before!" Umbrapaw noted as he examined the mound of prey they brought in. So many different creatured laid lifeless. Ranging from mice to squirrels to many species of birds and to fish. At least there was a nice variety for everyone to choose from.

Ghostpaw arrived with his own catch of the day, two blackbirds and a shrew. Goldenpaw quickly followed the other apprentice, carrying two squirrels. He silently wondered if they had hunted they whole land clean of prey for this party. Still, the cheery tom was excited to meet new friends and simply relax.
Shadowfeather turned to the apprentices, "good work. We have more than enough to feed the pride. You may go relax or...you know, do whatever." The black tom shrugged but gave a grateful nod to the apprentices. "Thanks for your help."
Umbrapaw nodded and turned to Goldenpaw, "honestly, Im a bit nervous. So many cats coming to our new home. We just moved in not too long ago."
"It's mostly our allies," Squirrelleap noted coming up behind Umbrapaw, "But it's always good to be wary." He noted smiling at his son.

Burningstar purred looking at Larkwing, "I'm glad you agree! I'm sure Glowstar will take one look at the pool of water beside our home and be excited at the aspect of going swimming. She's quite skilled at it." She chuckled. It had been a while since she'd seen her friend and she was eager to see her again and tell her she was going to be having kits.

simplylight Celestialpaw paddled over and splashed Goldenpaw, "Get in loser, we have this pool we might as well make use of it! Show those WaterClan cats they aren't the only ones who can swim!"

SUNCLAN ------- Sunclan was the first to arrive, each of her clan-mate had their pelts painted. However this time they had been more careful in choosing their designs and paints, knowing that if not chosen carefully the paint would be washed away in the water. The ones they had chosen for tonight's visit would withstand the cool water. As she stood overlooking the cenote, even Littlebird had to admit that it was breathe taking. The only time she had seen anything like it was when she was in WinterClan, standing high above on the cliffs staring down into the swallowing river. As SunClan began their decent, she couldn't help but feel a little more nervous than usual.Having almost drowned as a kit, swimming was not exactly on her list of top things to do. As they reached the camp she dipped her head respectfully to Burningstar, allowing the other leader to speak first. She was already exhausted, just from having made the journey. She had given birth to her own kits only a few days prior, but she had made a deal with Glowstar to ensure that sunclan would be at these events. If Foxstar had been here, she would have remained behind in order to rest, but that wasn't an option at the moment. She needed to be here to maintain order within SunClan's ranks.
Larkwing laughed. Burningstar was right and the deputy could only imagine Glowstar's reaction. She always was an amusing character. His ears perked forward as Sunclan made their way toward them. Larkwing dipped his head respectfully to Littlebird. Although the tom was still salty with Foxstar after having to rush in and rescue Dayclan from her clutches, he never seemed to have held a grudge with the rest of the Sunclan cats. He waited for Burningstar to speak first.
Umbrapaw turned to face his adopted father, "well of course but it still makes me uncomfortable. We may have an alliance now but an alliance can easily be broken. I'm just weary."
Absum Lux arrived next, with Peach leading the group. As the newest addition to the pride alliance, he felt somewhat subconscious; sure, the invite was for all the pride groups, but party invites weren't going to cure Peach of all his insecurities about leading overnight. Cryptid noticed the heda's hesitation and clapped him roughly on the shoulder with a paw. "Go ahead, boss. What, scared of the water?" he smirked.
Peach shook his head. "Scared of Glowstar pushing me in." The heda squared his shoulders and padded over to the slowly-growing group of Clan staff, motioning for the rest of the coalition to spread out and start enjoying themselves. "Burningstar, Littlebird, Larkwing," he said, giving each of them polite dips of the head. "I hope you are all well."
Meanwhile, Yumemi-kepa was having the time of her life. "You guys have a pool?!" the sage shrieked, to no one in particular. "Sweet! Are we allowed to cannonball? Because if we can then I'm definitely gonna cannonball."
Larkwing dipped his head respectfully to Peach. "Peach, it is so good to see you again. Glad you could make it." Then his head turned to the sage, "just don't jump on anyone!"
It was pretty risky of her to come here. If ever she were to be recognized, it would be here, with so many cats from the Pride around. But at the same time, she felt she had to be a part of this. As one of the newest members of Absum Lux, she felt it important to get to know the cats allied to the group - it had been seasons since she last lived around here, and she knew there were bound to be plenty of new faces as well as old ones she never bothered to learn. And she couldn't ignore the promise of a place to swim. Absum Lux didn't really have much in the way of proper places to swim - she certainly didn't much trust the river connected to the Escomb Channel - and she missed it.
Perdue waited for Peach's signal before turning towards the pool at the camp's center, slipping into the water as if she belonged. She breathed a low sigh, ignoring the slight discomfort as the water soaked her long fur. River prey hadn't been part of her diet in a while, and her pelt no longer shook off water as easily as it once had. But it was worth the soaking for this.
Levi'a-kepa stayed in the back of the visiting party. The young she-cat did not understand why she convinced herself to go. The place, the cats, it was all so foreign from the concrete jungle she knew all too well. The city's dusty, dry air had nothing on the almost sweet smell of the forest, yet the natural world lacked the mystique of the ruins of the human one. She had only just begun to explore its depths.
She slipped away from the Absum Lux cats when Peach gave the signal. The bengal moved like a shadow down the pool. She scrunched her nose when as she slipped her paw into the water and whipped it back. The pool's crystalline water felt chilly, more so than the Escomb Channel. The Bengal's ear's went back as she took a few steps back from the water.
racerkomiharu Burningstar was thrilled to see Littlebird and Peach, she nodded to Littlebird then remembered when she'd seen Littlebird on the night the moon had disappeared, she'd been pregnant. "Have you kitted?" Burningstar asked. "How are you doing Littlebird? Is Foxstar still away?" She asked, then she looked at Peach and dipped her head. "We're happy to have you here too Peach, please we have plenty of prey to be shared tonight, and the water is lovely. We also have hot springs that Soaringbird can take some of your members to if they'd like to enjoy a nice soak." Burningstar offered purring. The ginger she cat enthusiastic to have the Pride here.
komiharu "I bet I can make a bigger splash than you," Celestialpaw boasted getting out of the water and going over to where Yumemi-kepa was dripping wet. "So we'll jump on three, and then we'll see who makes the biggest splash."
blue "Wow you're pretty good at swimming!" Flickerflame noted swimming over to Perdue, he wasn't bad, but he was trying to stick to the shallower parts. Where he could stand up if he needed to. "Is there a lot of water on Absum lux's territory?" He asked.
stardanceSpot Skypaw's ears twitched at the sound of Levi'a-kepa's retreating steps from the water. "It's a little chilly." She meowed. "But after you get used to it it'll be fine." The blind she cat assured her. "Or you can just be like me and bat at it and splash some of the other cats, like watch this." Whiskers twitching she listened for Echomelody paddling nearby and then stuck a paw out to send a small splash at her friend. It was off a bit given Skypaw's blindness but she did manage to get Echomelody a little.

SUNCLAN "I have" she replied, if the scent of milk and the lack of a round belly wasn't enough of an indication. She hadn't wanted to leave them behind, but it was important to remain part of this alliance. It was her duty to attend these gatherings, even though it would only take more of a toll on her already weakened body "Seven healthy kits, Mountainsound is watching over them so that I could attend" the paint helped to hide how exhausted she was, as she put on a very convincing front that depicted other wise. "Foxstar has not yet returned to us, but with my kits now born I will be able to act more effectively" with her prgnancy looming over her, she had been holding back. She didn't mind to risk her own life, but she wouldn't risk the lives of those that she had been carrying.
Jetclaw "Awe, Skypaw!" She laughed, water droplets hitting her face from her friend's splash. "You started it now!" She gathered a pawful of water and splashed Skypaw back, a smile on her face and her whiskers twitching in amusement.

NIGHTCLAN Late as always, a sudden white ghostly appeared flying down one of the tunnels towards the pool of water. Without a moment's hesitation, Divinepaw leaped into the waters below created a splash that flew high into the air
