Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
it's time for the ceremony of the leaves, a new tradition created to foster a greater connection to their territory and to each other ♥
HOW IT WORKS: each cat in summerclan, excluding kits, comes forward and chooses
two leaves from the pile assembled by doestar, greythorn, and a few apprentices who
had been sworn to secrecy and taken on the very important, first-ever, amazing,
inaugural leaf-pile-diving mission.
ordinarily, the ceremony of the leaves will be open only to kits becoming apprentices
and newcomers to the clan, and the leaves will be gathered by the garden keepers; however, as this is the first time, it's open to everyone to allow every warrior, queen, and elder to be apart of the new tradition if they so please. (and because it's easier for me than making y'all do it on the joining thread god bless)
the meaning of each leaf is explained to the clan by doestar and greythorn beforehand.
after each cat has chosen their leaves, the clan bonds with a feast under the stars.

FUTURE CELEBRATION IDEA:
cats who have chosen leaves with complementary meanings are sorted into groups and given challenges to promote bonding and exploration of the territory.
these challenges could be anything from being entirely blind to the goal and having to follow a map and reach checkpoints to unlock clues pointing to the next destination; a game of "capture the flag", where opposing teams will each have to guard their own prize while also sending out cats to try and capture the other team's one; a peaceful sleepover under the stars with your lil group, etc.
each challenge/bonding event is catered to the shared traits/ values of the specific group (i.e. single cats who choose leaves to do with romance could be sent on a blind date; those who chose leaves to do with strength could have more taxing challenges, cats with more peaceful leaves could have calmer, gentler friend-dates, etc.)
afterwards, a bonfire night could be held at the great redwood to celebrate.
