Bonefang stretched his legs one by one as he left the warriors den. There was a light dew on the grass and a fresh smell in the chilly air. I hope it warms up soon, he thought as he looked up at the clear blue sky which was brightening as the sun rose in the east. He wondered how much longer he could remain a warrior. But it loathed him to think of having to give it up someday and he was determined to stretch that time farther away from the present.
