Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Firecollapse felt a deep, embarrassed heat burning beneath his pelt as he sat below a new oak tree sapling. His fur had been groomed, but still stuck up in places (which was much unlike him), and his bright green eyes were looking straight down at his paws. Was he really that desperate for a mate and companionship? It wasn't like he had looked at all of the she-cats in the clan before and wondered. He thought of his mother, Foxstar, and his father, Deal, and how they never had stuck to just "the one". Even he, moons and moons ago, had thought he had found her, but all he had to show for it were his three sons, who he was proud of and their lives as warriors, but still, he just wanted to be happy. He wanted a companion that was his, and his alone, even when they met each other again in StarClan. Was that too much to ask?

Unseenpaw sat by herself, her fluffy back tail curled around her paws neatly. Other than he siblings, many of that within the clan avoided her. For some it was her heritage that made them afraid her. After all her father had been killed as a traitor... For others her sightless blue eyes scared them away. They were unnaturally and startling blue, and it made other uneasy when they stared into them. Whatever the case may be, it was uncommon to see her speaking to anyone other than her mentor. She was always off training, trying to show that she was loyal to her clan and could be an asset.
"Stupid..." Firecollapse muttered under his breath. He stood, pacing back and forth in front of the sapling, his tail lashing in annoyance at himself and his feelings. He paused and looked up, his gaze moving straight to Unseenpaw where she sat alone. If he wasn't going to be able to go through all of this, he could at least have some company, and give her some as well. He saw how the others skirted around her, and the rumors about she and her siblings being punished by the Sun God for the crimes of their father. But Firecollapse was not so easily swayed by these beliefs, nor was he put off by the startling, misty-eyed gaze that she had. The warrior walked across the clearing and cleared his throat to make sure she knew he was there. "Hello, Unseenpaw," he greeted, with a dip of his head that she wouldn't see.

Her her flickered upwards towards the voice, a voice that she knew but seemed unfamiliar at the same time. She had heard this voice several times in the past, but always at a distance. It belonged to firecollapse, one of Foxstar's sons "Hello..." she replies with a wavering voice, uncertain as to why he would be approaching her. Had he decided that she needed to be punished further for what her father had done? Even though she hadn't even been born at the time, she and her siblings carried the weight of his sins on their shoulders."E...Enjoying the romance festival?"
Firecollapse snorted, and it turned into a slight laugh, as he sat down beside her, close enough that they could talk but not close enough that he would invade her space. Firecollapse was acutely aware of how to approach the blind. He had an apprentice, Nightshadepaw, that had been blind, and the tom had come to be one of Firecollapse's favorite cats. He still spent time with Nightshadeintuition from time to time. "Not sure 'enjoying' would be the right word," he said after a pause. "To be honest I feel kind of... Awkward, I guess."

Unseenpaw was rather surprised at his blunt honesty, most cats were going about their business giggling and laughing. Even those that were not enjoying themselves seemed to keep their mouths closed or they lied. She tilted her head slightly to the side, rather curious about the tom before her "Honestly, it is the same for me" she paused, and gave a shrug of her shoulders "and a lot of others that don't have a special someone in their lives" the few friends she did have were all off on their dates, and here she remained behind and alone "Since you feel the same way maybe we could go out on a hunt?" the suddenly she felt heat rise to her cheeks "I didn't mean that the way that it sounded, not a date or anything. I just meant..." she became flustered, her words getting lost in her throat.
