Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It was forced habit, one from seasons ago, that drove the silver tabby to curl her mouth in something like disgust. She was quick to shake it away, returning to the dull and almost hollow expression that had taken up residence as her usual expression. She was confident enough she wouldn't be recognized. There was only one SunClan cat she ever knew in anything that could even jokingly be called personally, and she had heard the rumors. That cat was... otherwise preoccupied. No certainty from what she heard of where to, but she wasn't around. And even if that wasn't the case, she didn't expect that cat to be the sort to do tasks like border patrol herself. Better to stay at camp where she could exercise the power she held. She had done the same long ago. She hardly recognized herself anymore anyways. From her scent to the emptiness even she acknowledged had opened up the day she too her own mother's life, she was a very different cat than anyone she had once known would recognize.
She didn't cross the scent marks that drew her initial, unpleasant reaction as she instead began to walk along the line, only a mouse-length or so away. She wasn't overly concerned about being caught, bright blue gaze idly scanning the land on the far side of the border. She knew these cats were aggressive, but she had an excuse. The scent of Absum Lux clinging to her, only just strong enough to mark her as a new addition, made clear that she was an ally. She would've gone to see the opposite forest Clan, but she had less excuse there. No alliance with MoonClan, and far more risk of being recognized. She wanted a new life and would rather everyone forget she ever existed before she joined Absum Lux. And so this place made the most sense. She was always curious about the intricacies of life in SunClan, and perhaps she'd find someone willing to brag to entice her to their ranks. Not that she had any plans to comply. She was plenty happy with her nest far away from any Clan.
