Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Doestar was in the rabbit meadow, near the little earthen thunderpath and the abandoned twoleg settlement; the sunlight was soft and golden, the air was thick with pollen, and small leaves floated through the air like shining dust motes. It was beautiful, and peaceful, and calm. He, however, was not. He’d found a collection of house plants in pretty terracotta pots and he needed them. He’d also run into an old kittypet friend and somehow wound up with a soft apricot-coloured blanket, which he had draped over his back — but he was decorating his new den, and he wanted only the best and softest things, and this blanket and these pots were those things.
And so, he struggled with the pots — he tried gripping the rim with his teeth and dragging it along, but that only hurt his canines and scratched the pottery; he tried rolling them on their sides, but that only spilled the earth inside and crushed the leaves. He let out a frustrated cry and collapsed back onto his blanket, flinging it over his face and staring up at the faintly checked fabric. “This is fine,” he squealed. “I love being dead and dying.” All for the love of pretty things. That truly would be the end of him one day — pretty boys and pretty trinkets.
"Doestar? Is that you?" Came a gentle voice from the other side of the blanket. She pulled the blanket away from his face and stared down at him with beautiful green eyes. Pebblefur's spotted fur radiated in the sunlight, looking soft and silky. "What are you doing? What is this stuff?"
