"Regime is too far," Stonewatcher stated immediately, his eyes narrowing mildly, "We do not know yet the intentions of the Sun God Clans, they may be organizing an attack now while our Moon God is away. Our Clanmates need their leader here ready to lead them should the need arise." The tom stood up and approached the leader with a serious expression in his face, "You need to think, if SunClan were to attack us while you were gone, what would your clan, who recently lost its leader, think of your ability to protect them? You have to consider not only the safety of your clanmates, but the safety of your newfound leadership as well. You are still very new to being leader, and if I remember correctly you did not spend very many moons as their deputy. You need to show them no matter what you will always be ready to save them. Let me handle Regime, after you return from your visit with NightClan."
Mousebrain. Why didnt I think of that? He opened his mouth to object, but chose rather to agree with the tom. "You're right. It would be a bad idea to do that." He was reluctant to admit, at some times, Stonewatcher was better at making rational decisions, taking into account all the possibilities. I guess that's why he chose you. Silverstar was a bit impulsive, especially for a rookie leader. Poor decision making can lead to unnecessary death. The words of his mentor echoed in head. Hes normally better at this kind of thing, but maybe with the disappearance of the moon, his judgement became shoddy. Silverstar stared off into the distance deep in thought.

Stonewatcher's expression softened, the tom batting his leader's face again, "You forget, that's why I'm here for you Mousebrain. It will take some time but I'm sure that your 'leader's wisdom' will come with a few moons of practice. It isn't your fault that you became leader so quickly, I'm sure everyone including the Moon God realize that. It's your job to think with your heart, mine to think with my head. I wouldn't trade that for anything else my friend."
He was broken out of his trance from the blow and smiled at the tom. "Thank you, Stonewatcher." he said gratefully. Glancing back toward camp, he rose to his paws. "Shall we get move on then? At the least, we can start planning who's going where and when."

"That will likely be a good idea," the tom poke, a hint of exhaustion in his voice as he stretched his body with a toothy yawn before shaking his fur, "I'll need to assign patrols for the day. I likely should have slept I've clearly been thinking through quite a lot last night."
He nodded and yawned, surprising himself. "Wow, those are contagious," he said, "but you should really get some rest before you start losing fur from thinking too much." Stretching, he started off toward his den. Hopefully everything will work out for the best./i]
