Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
WaterClan had gone to the gathering to discuss it, but it had been more trouble than it was worth: they hadn't learned much and their leader had barely even been present. Some of the medicine cats had been given prophecies, but not Juniper. Not WaterClan.
Wy didn't want to anger his clan, but... wasn't this important? That WaterClan had been singled out by StarClan? If he had to guess, their ancestors were angry with them, and that felt like a big deal, something they should be discussing. So why wasn't anyone?
The golden-brown tom cast an irritated glance at his clanmates as he sat in camp. Nobody was worried? Really? "Go on, act like nothing is happening," he muttered, "see how well that works out."
"Nobody else is." He turned to look at her with a frustrated shake of his head. "I don't understand why. The moon was gone and StarClan is ignoring us... did we do something wrong? Can we fix it?"
She frowned, unsure of what to say. She was only a warrior and not the brightest of the bunch either. She didn't have a connection with Starclan and didnt know what to say to help soothe her clanmate. "I-I'm not sure...I dont think we did anything wrong...I mean, Sunclan and Renegade Regime are kind of at war with each other...maybe it has to do with them?" She tried to sound comforting and convincing but not even she was convinced.
"Maybe. But then, the Regime is our ally. Is StarClan telling us to help or not?" Wy shook his head, equally lost. The former deputy didn't understand either, he was hopeless at this sort of thing, but he was truly worried what it might mean. It wasn't his business to tell prophecies but their leader and medicine cat didn't seem interested. He sighed. "If it does have to do with them, maybe it doesn't mean anything to us at all, and that's whyStarClan ignored us."
"That may be true. Have you talked to the medicine cat about the prophecies the medicine cats were given? Did ours get a prophecy or just the others?" She was just as confused and curious as Wy and wondered if they should keep digging or leave this whole thing alone.
He shook his head. "I don't know if they told Juniper or not, but she said she didn't get one. And I don't want anyone to think I'm going behind their backs." He shifted, looking embarrassed and ashamed. He had been deputy under the former leader that had turned out to be a tyrant and while he had been allowed to stay in the clan after, not everyone trusted him.
"Maybe," Wy agreed. "You're probably right." He didn't really sound convinced, but it was the best option, the only one that meant their clan wasn't in danger. "I hope so. I don't want trouble."
The golden-brown tom considered, the nodded, appreciating the offer. "I would. No reason to dwell on what we can't change, right?" A forced half-smile. "Coming with me?"
