Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bugkit was laying near the fresh kill pile, enjoying the smell and the gentle breeze. He let the fresh kill scents take his imagination far away from his current position, and suddenly he raced through the forest. He hurdled over a log and raced through a small pile of leaves. He could distinctly smell vole, there must be one nearby! He crouched down and kept an eye out for any sign of movement... There it was! Some leaves were bristling just beside the tree roots. He crouched down low and prepared to pounce. He heard something behind him, but paid it little attention as he edged towards his prey.
A loud squeal awoke Bugkit from his daydream with a jump. A black and white bundle of fur landed directly on top of bugkit, and they rolled over several times grappling each others fur. Bugkit broke free from the cat's grip and scampered away from his attacker. He looked over and saw his sister Bonekit now casually licking her paw as if she hasn't just pounced on him for no good excuse. He flicked his tail in annoyance but only said, "Bonekit I was about to catch a vole!"
Momoko lifted her head curiously a few short tail-lengths away, havig been disturbed by the noise. "You weren't actually going to catch a vole," she called out, a little too haughtily for her own good. "There's no voles in camp," she murmured, sighing and laying back down to rest her head on her paws. "...Alive ones, anyway. You might find a dead one on the pile, though..."

Minkit watched from the edge of the nursery, his tailtip flicking like a metronome. He shifted his eyes over to the freshkill pile as it was mentioned, and then back to the other kits, wondering what the big deal about catching a vole was anyways. There was always plenty of food for the cats in the clan, even though some warriors never really hunted. He didnt think they all needed to know how to hunt.
Momoko lifted her head a few inches from her paws once more to take a glance at Mintkit. "What do you think, Mintkit?" she asked, raising an eyebrow lazily. She'd never spoken with the tomkit before, and knew next to nothing about him other than the fact that they currently shared a den. Come to think of it, she barely knew anything about Bugkit or Bonekit either. Huh. Perhaps the problem was with me all along.

He turned his gaze to the Momoko, eyes widening before they flicked back to the other kits, "I think they'd be hard pressed to find a live one here," he shrugged, shuffling his paws under him.
Momoko flicked her ears. "Finally, another sensible one around here," she murmured, gathering herseld up to shift into a sitting position. "It was getting lonely being the only one, y'know."

The tom kit nodded, looking back to the other two. He wasn't keen on the games that other kits seemed to play. They seemed... rugged to him. "Thanks I guess." he murmured.
Momoko laid her head back down and closed her eyes, though her body was still facing Mintkit's. "When are you due to be promoted?" she asked him, eyebrows raised. "I'm five and a half moons, so I'm probably getting out of here in the next round of ceremonies. I can't wait," she murmured, in the tone of someone who could, in fact, wait.

Mintkit shrugged, "Dont know, dont really care." he huffed, shuffling his paws, "I dont really want to fight or hunt." he explained, tail flicking hard against the ground. "Dont like the warriors bossing me around anyways."
"Me neither," Momoko muttered. "I wish I could skip the whole apprenticeship part, y'know? Like, if I could just have the glory, without any of the training or hard work...Yeah. That'd be cool."

"I don't think it works that way..." he mewed, flicking his ears back. He wasn't lazy per se, just not really wanting to have to do anything that would involve him having to support his clan. Or himself. He didn't really know what he wanted to do, but even bringing glory to himself didn't sound good.
"Doesn't it?" Momoko flicked an ear. "What, you don't wanna....get glory, or name recognition, or whatever for yourself? That's, like...the opposite of what most kits want, you know. I mean, even if you're not keen on fighting or hunting..."
( momoko is supposed to have moved to rr by now but oh well lmao )

(Oh no :0 )
He shook his head, "I just want to live. To have a place to eat and sleep and i dont even really wanna catch my food..." He explained, twitching his tail, "What do you want to do as a warrior anyways?"
