Apprentice only plot (But if they’re promoted during the plot that’s okay, they just have to start out as apprentices)

The premise is that by day they’re ordinary apprentices and by night they go out vigilante style, no code of honor attached hunting down criminals that wronged them or their clan. The apprentices disguise their scents with herbal plants in their area by rubbing into them and either use leaf and feather masks that they glue together using tree sap and honey to disguise themselves or use plants in their area to help dye parts of their fur to throw people off from recognizing them, such as having an orange spot over their eye that they don’t usually have.

The vigilante apprentices would know each other by code names and bonus points if they know of each other outside of their night jobs. They’re not always friends though and only unite for common goals. Some are known as the heroic type and others are viewed as villains.

I imagine that most, but not all of these apprentices aren’t the trouble maker type. They’re the good boy or girl that always obeys, but at night they let loose and break the rules.
