Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Pandora was an odd sort of cat. Far too attuned to the emotions of cats around her, and with an increasingly isolated personality ever since the solstice festival when Twilightbell had told her of her fate. The daughter of the DayClan and SunClan leaders, the Sun created she-cat who was a perfect mix of her parents. She was growing ever more unpleasant as time went on. Her interactions could be wild and explosive, turning from docile and friendly to downright mean and disrespectful in an instant once the slightest hint of negativity entered her mind from her surroundings.
For now, she was alone on SunClan territory, wandering though she knew she was being followed. The concerned presence called out to, expanding with the dark presence that had lodged itself in the back of her mind since the Dark Forest cats had tried to kill her, since meeting that sister of hers in the Keeper's Mansion, the one Glowstar and Darkcomplex knew about, but refused to acknowledge or even make their clanmates aware.
She could feel them nearing, and on instinct, the feline circled around them, climbing a tree so as to look down on them as they finally stopped below her. The Sun warmed her back, the tendrils of light seeming to bend eerily around her and scatter itself across the full leaves of the tree. "Why are you following me?" The auburn cinnamon feline demanded, sounding for all the world so much like Foxstar, despite having rarely been around her SunClan mother at all.

Echowish poked her head out from the bushes, the young she-cat still in that terrible habit of following cats around...well usually without them knowing. Pandora seemed to be fairly skilled at detecting her, whether this was because of good sensory abilities or simply Echowish's failure as a stalker she would never know.
"I'm sorry, I know a loy has been going on but I wondered if you could use the company. I'm not very old, but I'm not blind to the struggles of others," the newly appointed Soothsayer Promised spoke as she walked out of her hiding place and stared up at her clanmate, "Twilightbell spoke to me about what she told you, how are you holding up?"

Littlebird soon emerged as well, "We are all worried about you Pandora" she added softly. Not everyone was happy with what they learned at the festivals, but at the same time most didn't go running off into obscurity either.
"I'm not sure why it matters to you." She answered sharply, her fur bristling. "Did I ask you to care about me? No. So go away, I don't matter anyway." If they just left her alone, it would be so much easier, so much less painful to turn on them. It was working so far. Well, Pandora kept telling herself that it was working, at least.

"Pandora, like it or not you are a member of SunClan" she paused, knowing that she was coming more sternly than she would have liked "That means you are apart of our family, you are one of the Sun God's chosen. Your life matters"
"You should stop placing so much value on my life while you can, Promised." Pandora's tone turned suddenly much, much darker. "You say the Sun God is good, but he would kill you all to prove a point." She understood it well enough, and in many ways, she was an alien to these cats. She looked like them, talked like them, acted like them, but she could almost not be a more different beast entirely, mortal, yet an angel of judgement given flesh. She would need to stop thinking in terms of emotion, and start to think in terms of her duty soon enough, or else her mind would not survive the ordeal.

"Pandora...." she trailed off. The young she-cat had always acted differently than the other youth, but her recent behavior was disturbing to say the least "I don't know what it is that is bothering you, but I will always place value on your life" she let her tail gently touch Pandora's shoulder "something has been weighing on you ever since you spoke with Twilightbell" it was a simple statement, and open invitation to share if she wished
"Just another thing our High Priestess is keeping from you all then. Otherwise you wouldn't be so concerned about me." Her tone was bitter, "How many deceptions is she up to now, in SunClan alone?" Pandora pondered. There were so many, Littlebird probably didn't even know the half of it.

"That may be true," Echowish finally spoke, having been observing the two cats communicating between each other for a short time, "But what does that have to do with you? Are you willing to shoulder the actions of another cat on your own shoulders or do you want to go beyond the accusations and prove yourself as an individual? You can have a cat speak of an ill omen, but in the end it is up to you to determine what it truly means for your future."

"Echopaw is right, the only one who can decide your fate is you" Littlebird nodded over at Echopaw "Foxstar has her secrets, but so does everyone. Have I ever told you how I came to be the priestess promised?" it was a story that few cats knew the details of. Foxstar, Singedwolf, Skipstep, and Jetclaw were the few who she had felt comfortable enough to share this with. Most of the clan knew that she had came to SunClan as a kit after leaving WinterClan, but few understood what had drove her to it. Here your past didn't matter as much as your loyalty to the sun god "I will share my story for yours"
"You still don't get it, do you!?" Pandora's voice was frustrated by their lack of understanding. Why couldn't they just forget about her? Why did they have to make it so hard? "My future has been laid forth for me by the Sun God, it always had been. And with this omen, my fate is sealed. I do not get a choice in the matter, I never did. But if you want to know so bad, then fine."
Her gaze slipped between them, her expression hard and dangerous. "I was created by the Sun God to bring Glowstar and Foxstar together. In the wake of DayClan's imprisonment, in the wake of Deal's curse, the Sun God finally had enough of all their fighting. It was for that reason, I was made. I am their child, their hope and their curse, their future or their death. My destiny was declared that day, that if they should not learn to put aside their own anger, their wrath and their grudges, that their clans would pay for their sins. And my stupid question has only confirmed what I knew to be true from the beginning, what you both should already know, having met those two. They will never get along. Not even for the fate of those they love, not even for the Sun God can they put behind themselves their petty anger and selfishness hearts."
The wind seemed to ripple as Pandora's anger burst forth, a dangerous burn to the air like someone had filled it with the acrid tang of smoke. Her incandescent eyes seemed to glow almost unnaturally, unearthly power at her paws just a breath away from unleashing itself upon the world. "It is for their actions, that these sister clans are marked for death. DayClan and SunClan, led by the light, fated to be destroyed because two leaders just can't think of anything but their own problems. And who should be the one to destroy them? Well, that has already been decided as well. I am the Sun God's judgement, and one day not so far away, I will destroy these lands, burn them to the ground until they are but a memory on the wind. And what can anyone do to stop what the Sun God has already determined will happen?"

"You can pass your own judgment," Echowish explained, her eyes remaining gentle despite this show of force. Stepping forward, the young cat nuzzled her clanmate in an attempt to provide comfort wanting desperately for Pandora to see her as support she could rely on. "You were given the ability to pass judgment on those who the Sun God deems wicked yes? Well what if it is up to you to determine that judgment and how it should be conducted? Will you be nothing but a slave to the Sun God's wishes or don't you think the Sun God would want more for you then that? It is my belief that the Sun God gave you this gift and your free will to make your own determination. If you believe our clans cannot be saved, then I suppose that will be the time you pass judgement on the wicked. Despite this, can you look at the cats right in front of you at this moment who simply want to help you and say their are no redeeming qualities about them that could save their clans from being destroyed?"
"Who is to say that fate cannot change?" Twilightbell had been silent up to this point. "Fate and destiny are funny things you know. It is affected by every little thing we do. Like Echowish mentioned, you have the power to make your own decision. My answer to your question that day was that you would fulfil your destiny. Who is to say that your destiny is to destroy the clans? That is one possible outcome yes, but it is not what has been set in stone yet. If my understanding of what you are telling us is correct, while the clans are in danger, the Sun God has given us a chance to be redeemed, one that we can most certainly take correct?" She laid her fluffy tail on the young she cat's shoulders. "Give it time. Things can always change."

"You choose the path that you walk on" she paused agreeing with the words that the other cats had spoken thus far. "When I lost a lot of the kits in my first litter, I blamed the Sun God. I was angry, resentful, and hurt. It was only with time that I have come to realize that although he is powerful he doesn't control everything that happens in the world. We make our own destinies and choices"
