plot idea:

gravityfalter was a terrible father and mate to his first family.
he was abusive and narcasistic and everything a father/mate isn't supposed
to be. this resulted in the eventual end of the relationship between he and
iceminuet. his relationship with his two children, ashenbriar and thistlespark
has also deteriorated with time. the duo feel obligated to maintain a relationship
with their father, despite his continuous psychological warfare against them. 
this has been their life for moons, gravityfalter coming in and out as he pleased,
leaving a trail of destruction behind him, etc. the kittens and iceminuet, though,
still have a place in their hearts for him, and they still hold out on the hope that
one day, he really will change.

this goes on for so long, that it seems like their little universe is meant to be this way, broken.

then, gravityfalter meets cinderfern, a she-cat who once made similarly poor
life choices but claims to be reformed, just as he does. she is a warrior of spring,
where she resides with her son, thistlekit. gravityfalter realizes that she is
what he had been asking starclan for, a reason for existing. he convinces
her and her son to join summerclan with him, and chaos ensues.

how will the old family react to the new? will this bring an era of moving forward, or just cause more hurt? will #cinderfalter even work out?

playable characters:
gravityfalter ; a narcissist, even though he claims to be reformed. he has a history
of being an abuser, but makes the claim that he has moved on and learned from his mistakes.
he can be a very charming tom, one with an infectious laugh and phenomenal sense of humor,
but still retains characteristics like manipulation that he formerly had. he loves his children,
but in a warped, twisted sense of lve that occurred because he never learned what it meant
to be a dad. he tries to make up for his years of mistakes, but refuses to admit he was wrong.
an excellent fighter.

iceminuet ; the mother of ashenbriar and thistlespark, former mate of gravityfalter. she is a
she-cat who was formerly abused very badly by gravityfalter, and one who tends to hop
from relationship to relationship to cover the fact that she is deeply hurt by the fact
her first true love didn't work out. she is very fiercely protective of her children,
and will do anything she can to take care of them. she can be kind of ditsy at times,
and doesn't have the greatest patience, but she is an incredibly strong feline.

ashenbriar ; the first born of gravityminuet. heavily guarded, struggles deeply
with the fact that she has been abused by her father. constantly feels as if she is not enough,
despite the fact that she accomplishes so much. she is an incredibly smart feline, albiet broken,
who tries her best to carry her burdens with a smile. she indulges in gallows humor and is
wildly sarcastic. often very hard on herself, but the kind of cat who would do just about anything 
for others, even if it costs her dearly. she wants nothing more than for her dad tolove her,
although she understands this is unlikely. a perfectionist who does not believe that she will
ever be "good enough" TROUVAILLE.

thistlespark ; the kitten of the second litter of gravityminuet. he seems unbothered by most
things, but he does have a bit of an explosive temper. he is very close to his sister and mother,
who is often accused of babying him. he can be a little spoiled at times, although he's a genuinely
good kid once you get passed the "i'm a big tough guy" facade he puts on. he was a kitten when
his parents' relationship disinigrated, so has never known his father more than in the passing 
times that gravityfalter decided to be in their lives. he does not believe his father loves him,
and believes the only way to make his father love him is to be the best fighter he can. 

cinderfern ; the springclan she-cat that gravityfalter falls in love with. a genuine,
sweet cat who does everything she can to make up for the fact that she spent her youth
making bad decisions. she is very supportive and has a soft spot for anyone who is troubled.
she is bubbly and happy most of the time, which brings out the better side of gravityfalter.
she wants his children to like her and accept her into the family, but understands why they 
might be guarded. doesn't want to step on anyones toes. chatty and social.

thistlekit ; son of cinderfern, gets adopted by gravityfalter, who believes his step-son
is a chance to be the father he had failed to be for his own children. he grows up very
close to gravityfalter (although rpers can decide if gravityfalter ends up being 
abusive / manipulative towards him in the end), which deeply hurts ashenbriar and thistlespark,
who think the kitten has replaced them. although he will never admit it, thistlespark is most
hurt because they share a name, and the older tom tries to sabatogue the younger.
he doesn't understand the weird, dysfunctional family dynamic. very creative
