DISCLAIMER - Calendulabee is trying out for deputy but he will be added if he does not get the job so I figured rping him would be safe (:
Pale yellow eyes crossed as the tom bent low with his head on his paws and stared at the poppy flower. A fluffy bumble bee rustled about its petals in search of sweet nectar. Its rump and legs powdered orangeish yellow with it's find. Calendulabee purred deep in his chest as he watched the small creature with such fascination. Do clan cats realize that other creatures hunt and fight for what they believe in just like they do? Was this bee not hunting for its hive? He smiled warmly. The orange tabby stripes pulling back across his cheeks from under his eyes. White whiskers twitching as the bee took flight in search of a new hunting spot. Calendulabee rolled over in the patch of clover, exposing his belly to the sun's warm touch.

Graythorn had recruited his sister, Pantherclaw, to help him gather plants in the herb meadow. Even though Pantherclaw's normally sunny disposition grated on his nerves, he enjoyed spending time with his sister. But he'd never tell her that! He watched as the black she cat headed toward the poppy patch before turning his paws toward the small stream to collect some water mint.
Pantherclaw carried a large dock leaf in her mouth. It would serve as a wrap for the seeds she was going to gather. As a pollen covered bee buzzed past, she stopped to watch where it was going. After watching for a moment, she turned back to the task she was assigned, poppy seed collecting. Then suddenly she noticed a small patch of orange fur mostly hidden by the poppy flowers. "Hey! Who's here?" she asked, the dock leaf falling from her mouth.

Calendulabee was so lost in his minds wondering he barely heard Pantherclaw. But as her voice invaded his dreams he blinked pale yellow eyes and raised his pollen covered head from the poppyseeds. "Its me! Don't attack! Im unclawed! he teased right ear twitching in amusement.

"Unclawed?" Pantherclaw asked with bit of concern in her voice. She had once heard about some kittypets being declawed by their twolegs and remembered feeling outraged at the cruelty perpetrated by these monsters. As she was about to ask Calendulabee about this, she stopped. There was a teasing tone to his voice that told her he wasn't in any danger or harm.
"Well it's not any good for a warrior to go around unclawed," she teased back. "What if you meet up with some trouble -- like me?" She pounced, landing next to the tom but not touching him. "You could be in big trouble."
