Sydney had been doing her best to train her apprentice with the time they had. Lusterpaw seemed to gain more of the memories each day, and she had to prepare him for the inevitable. Of course, the clan didn't know that. They simply knew the apprentice aged Senator was an 'ancient' as it had been put, a former leader of a group of Sun worshipers long before the clan had ever existed, and few doubted the words of their deity, or the Priestess who had presented them with this knowledge.
For as young as she appeared, the Savannah feline was exceptionally wise, though few of the younger cats seemed to want to interact with her. Something about her looking scary.

"Will you stop scarring off all the apprentices" rorke chuckled making his way over to where the savannah cat sat. He to was an ancient, one of three that had been brought back in order to train an apprentice of his own for a mission that would would be difficult for even the most experienced cats to accomplish. Unlike Sydney, cats seemed to be drawn to rorke and his easy going smile.
She turned a somewhat irritated gaze towards the tom at his comment, her frown looking far more like she was contemplating one's particularly violent death than what she actually felt. "You're as old as they are. Why aren't you scared off?" Sydney huffed, shaking her head slightly. "It's not like I'm trying to make them hate me, you know." Things had been different in her time. Cats had feared her, respected her strength, and those under her knew that no matter how terrifying she might appear, she always had a gentle word to give. These cats just didn't get it.

"I have seen things far more frightening than you, whilst they are still young and have much to learn" he closed his eyes thinking back to why he had helped first form SunClan in the first place. In that time lions still roamed these lands, and it had been a much more dangerous place to live. The Sun God had taken them in and given them something to believe in, something to fight for. His whiskers twitched in amusement "They will realize the same in time"
