This time, the Sun God showed up in camp. After a few assurances that he wasn't there to spell out doom or deliver prophecy, cats sort of calmed down, though he could still hear the whispers of cats wondering when Foxstar would be back, a few thoughts wandering through minds of if they should just give up on her and crown Littlebird. But of course, none would voice their concerns or ideas in front of him. Not that they needed to. He could hear them all.
But all in due time. Foxstar would return soon enough, and everything would be back in order. Until then the clan simply had to keep their focus.

It wasn't hard to see that Littlebird was becoming rather frustrated at this whole situation. Foxstar had gotten herself into this mess, leaving Littlebird to try to pick up the pieces and to rescue her. To top it all off, she was pregnant with Skipstep's kits, and Leatherfen was back to stir up trouble. It felt like the world was crumbling around her, but she had to remain strong. It was really only in the presense of the Sun God himself that she felt like she could allow her inner fears to show. He would know what he was feeling even if she didn't voice what was going on with her mind "She will return..." she stated, knowing that he would understand that she was returning to Foxstar "at least that is my hope" There had been talks on giving up on the priestess, and some had even started refering to her as the high priestess in hushed whispers. She had insisted that that the clan continue to call the priestess promised, but it only held so much weight. "Am I right in trying to win her back? She got herself into this mess, but I care for her. She may be a little on the wild side, but I do. She is the rightful leader of SunClan, but am I doing what is right for the clan?"
"You have said it yourself. She is SunClan's leader, no matter what anyone else may dare to think." The Sun God didn't bother to be quiet, rather that last sentence seemed to grow and echo around the camp walls, invading the dens and minds of all those who doubted Foxstar's rank. By all rights, she was Priestess, and he had no intentions of revoking that from her.
He understood her concerns, and she was valid in her thoughts. Yet, he was not about to abandon the one who held his favor, not in her time of need. If he could not even hold to that promise, then what sort of god could he be, to accept worship yet never offer anything in turn? Great in theory, but generally didn't work in practice. "It is in the Clan's best interest that she regain her rightful place one day." His head tilted as he looked at the Promised, a thought gently filtering into her mind. Would you like to discuss further in your den? Or perhaps go for a walk? He asked. She would let down her walls somewhat in his presence, but would still not feel free enough to ask all the questions she desired out in the open such as this.

Even Littlebird was caught slightly off guard as his voice boomed through SunClan's camp, as she struggled to retain her own composure. His voice sunk deep into everyone around them, and it felt like her inside buzzed with the intensity that it brought with it. She lowered her gaze out of respect, knowing better than to press it any farther. She would do as he commanded, even if doubts plagued her mind. He had saved her, and she would follow him into the unknown without fear. As thought entered her mind, she merely nodded, allowing him to take the lead.
