Pluto was a father, not something he'd ever envisioned himself as. But he was. It was a little unnerving. What was he, the High Sage, suppose to do with kits? Tradition spoke that they would need to be raised by a caregiver. so that he may continue to focus on his work. The hunt had begun for a suitable caregiver the moment he'd brought the three home, but at the moment, they resided with him and Yumemi-kepa in their den. The dark brown tom hadn't given his apprentice any explaination as to why they were there or anything at for that matter.
Her father had been working a lot recently leaving only her siblings and Yumemi-kepa to keep her entertained. She let out a sigh of annoyance as she pushed herself out of the nest that had been tucked away from the herbs. The she-cat bounced over towards the shelves where the herbs tested for her father's use. "Hey Dad, what is this used for?" She asked as she pulled a herb down from the shelf.
"Nothing you need to be concerned with. Go play with your sisters." Pluto quickly snatched the herb from her, inspected it, then placed it back where it belonged. He really needed to find them a caregiver, and soon. The tom couldn't afford for any of his herbs to be damaged by their play or curiosity, especially approaching fall. Taking a moment to think, the tom realized the girls had been couped up in the den for a while, probably what spurred her to both him while he was working. "Grab your sisters and Yumemi-kepa, I believe we're overdue for some sunlight."
Melinoe had spent the morning lounging in the nest, bored out of her mind. Like her sisters, she too had been kept cooped up in the den with no one but Yumemi-kepa and her two sisters to play with. It was boring, but she understood her father was merely preparing for fall and winter, that he couldn't allow them out without supervision. Yumemi-kepa could take them out, but her father didn't trust the cat to not let them get hurt or something. That and he needed her help.
Erinyes's ears went flat against her head as her father snatched the herbs from her claws. "I just wanted to know..." She mumbled irritably under her breathe, turning her back to slink back into her corner. Her ears perked back up when Pluto told her to grab her sisters for a play date outside. "I'll do it right away!" She yowled excitedly with a twinkle in her eye before taking off to the other side of the den. "Melinoe! Makaria! We're going outside!"
