Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
@trouvaille We talked about a thread for Paris and Daray. One where they try to be lovers and fail and decide to just be friends, maybe with benefits lol)
Daray was perched up top a crumbling wall, a piece of their territory within the outskirts of the city. It was peaceful here with the sun's warm rays shining down on him. When he was high up, the long-haired gray tabby felt more at home, more balanced. On the ground, he was a messy of awkward limbs, tripping paws, and just a general embarrassment. But here, in trees and on high up pieces of building, he was content, happy, balanced.
The calico tom fluffed out his chest furs as he strutted through the territory. Everything about the tom screamed camp, from his over-the-top drawl when he spoke to the way he batted his eyelashes. He was something, and balanced wasn't that something. There was something in him that was drawn to balance, though, drawn to creatures who were more able to center themselves than he. Maybe that's why he ended up happening upon Daray; the universe wanted him to find someone that would balance.
"Didn't know I was group mates with a squirrel, sugarplum," he called up to the tom, his big eyes focused only on him.
"Sorry to disappoint then. I'm neither a squirrel or a sugarplum." Daray barely sparred a glanced at the newcomer, intent on going back to his nap he'd been trying to take. Settled more comfortably with one leg dangling off along with his tail, the long-haired tom closed his eyes, opening the cat would go away before they irritated him any more.
"Hmm, what a shame to both," he meowed in a breathy tone, batting his eyelashes up at the tom. "You'd be quite interesting if you were," he then continued, before climbing his way into a branch just below the tom. "Too many cats around here are just the same, absolutely boring, if I may say it." He meowed with a soft sigh. "How unfortunate."
