Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
[ lost i FINALLY got around to making the doegaze & doestar friendship thread, no pressure to reply tho if you're not feeling it anymore c; ♥ ]
Doestar was, admittedly, quite far from SummerClan. The farthest he'd been since becoming leader, actually; and, for once, the reason for wandering so far wasn't any sort of inclination towards romance and/or mistreatment. No — for the first time in a long time, he had simply had the urge to explore, to wander out by himself, to find new things and stick his nose under tree roots and simply... be. Like the old days, before he'd taken his new name and inherited all sorts of responsibilities he didn't feel prepared for. It had been a long time since he'd felt that vast, childish spark of wanting to discover. Like he was a kit in the nursery again, in love with the big, wide world and everything in it, wanting to document new lands and traverse terrains untouched and unexplored by any cat before him. It always felt like hope to him. In another life, maybe he would have been a vagabond, a nomad, mapping out exotic places all by himself. That sounded nice.
Now, he found himself rather deep in DayClan territory. It was one of the few places he'd never spent much time; back when he'd still been in NightClan, it had always felt too close to warrant any real sort of exploration, too familiar, timid, easy. He'd wanted farther lands and more intrepid journeys. But now that he was no longer that unworldly apprentice, he realised that it was rather pretty. Very pretty, really. Similar enough to SummerClan to be comforting, but different enough to be exciting. He smiled to himself as he rounded a tree, wondering vaguely if he ought to pop by NightClan to visit his brother, or maybe stop by BrookClan on his way home to see what Colin was up to these days—
And let out a high-pitched, girlish scream when he came face-to-face with a calico she-cat. "A—nnounce yourself!" he gasped out from where he'd fallen back against the tree trunk, clutching at his heart and struggling to catch his breath.
