Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Silkenwraith sat, tail curled around his paws, narrowed eyes glaring at the dirt as he considered the easiest way to murder Goldensilk in her sleep. Suffocating her held merit but he wasn't sure how he would do that. Perhaps he could dig a hole and drag her sleeping body into it. But the question would be if he could bury her in time before she woke up and climbed out. He was rather sure he could kill her in a fight but he didn't want others to be able to know that he had killed her.
Perhaps he could arrange a cave in but that would kill the soothsayers and other janus as well which seemed more a hassle than anything. But if he managed to empty the underground den of everyone except Goldensilk it could work. Leaving only a tragic accident; though he was unsure how well he could play grieving brother.
She was a janus. She should be happy, but part of her felt disappointment at having lost to Echopaw. She had the skills to be a soothsayer promised, she knew this, but yet the anxiety that bubbled in her chest had ruined her chances. Sure, the Sun God had still chosen her as a Janus, which was better then becoming nothing, but she doubted her adoptive mother was happy when there was one person out there still better then her.
She was so lost in her thoughts that she almost didn't notice her brother and her eyes narrowed as she watched him lazing about. She still didn't understand how her brother was chosen. He had failed every test and it was obvious he cared very little for being a Janus. He had done very little work since arriving to the Janus outpost and continued to do little work, but all the same continued to proclaim that he was busy. What could he possibly be busy with? Using his new high status to act better then everyone else? She let out a huff of annoyance.
The huff alone was enough to catch Silkenwraith's attention, the tom knowing it so deeply and he turned with slitted eyes and a fierce frown on narrow features. "I would ask if you were upset with your new position if it wasn't clear that you're instead upset with my very presence." He spoke, words tumbling like silk as he considered his sister. Something rising within him to burn brighter as he considered her look towards him and her obvious dismissal.
"And here I was hoping you had died in your sleep somehow and left me in peace." He grouched, turning away from her to go back to glaring at the walls. Hoping perhaps she would magically combust if he hated her strongly enough.
She thought bitterly to herself. Her claws dug into the soft earth under paw as every ounce of her body screamed to lash out at her brother. She took in a deep breath and released it through her nose as her muscles tensed up with frustration. Be nice. Be nice. Be nice.
She wasn't going to be nice. She was tired of her brother blaming her for every situation he put himself in, especially after he had been the one to ditch her with their adoptive mother during their rigorous training. "I'm upset with both. I'm upset that I didn't get Soothsayer Promised, especially since I'm obviously more knowledgeable then Echowish when it comes to herb used." She stated with irritation. "Then there is you. You can not even try, can act out all you want, and the Sun God still chooses you for an important position like this." She hissed these words out and stepped closer so that their muzzles were only inches a part. "You don't deserve to be here, and somebody has to tell you that to your face."
