Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Silkenwraith, a tom of 6 moons old, a tom who should hold the name Silkenpaw and had up until days ago. Until he had been forced to put his paw up to be considered for an open janus position. Something he had done his best to self-sabotage, and failed at. Silkenwraith wasn't used to failing at things he considered important in his life and he considered this his biggest failure yet. Not only that but he was now a Janus beside his sister Goldensilk. Which was something of a personal nightmare, living underground in a closed space with her in easy reach. Despicable, and he was already considering if he should flee so they could hunt him down and kill him in some gruesome fashion. Not quite decided yet if that was worse of better than being stuck living with his sister around him at all times.
There was no such thing as being able to trick the Sun God. When Twilighbell had conducted the Changing of the Ranks ritual, one of the Janus had still chosen him as a nominee, and the Sun God had cast light down, choosing him a cat worthy of the position, just as he had done to Silkenwraith's sister, and Dovepaw, now Dovepool. Echopaw had soot on her paws from a lightning vision the clan saw, and had been chosen as the Soothsayer Promised.
The Sun God knew all this. After all, he was the clan's deity, and watched over them. There was no such thing as tricking him, no matter what Silkenwraith might be able to convince his clanmates of. "You don't look pleased." The deity's voice echoed through the tunnels as he neared, the tunnel itself lightening from the glow of his fire threaded fur, body barely small enough to fit.
