Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
It wasn't the worst day of her life, but Cadet Irena was certainly ready to crawl into bed and leave it all behind - and it was only midday.
She padded out of the tunnel and stepped into the undergrowth, which was somewhat of a rare occurrence for her. Being a spy cadet, she was ideally supposed to stick to the cover of darkness in the tunnels and keep to the shadows, but after several failed practice assignments in a row, she couldn't be bothered trying to hide herself anymore. Perhaps a switch in careers was in order. What job would she pursue, if not a spy? She hated kits, so that ruled out becoming a raiser. Becoming a guider was out too, due to her poor memory and numerous allergies. That left either becoming a scout or mercenary, neither of which particularly interested her. "Bad day?" Elsie noticed the way Spy Cadet Irena sighed and flopped. On top of those, she could smell a scent of distress coming from the young she-cat and quite frankly Elsie couldn't blame her. Irena glared at the she-cat, before her expression softened ever so slightly and she nodded sullenly. "Only slightly," she muttered, eye beginning to twitch. "Tell me, Elsie. What's being a mercenary like?" she asked, not feeling particularly hopeful that she'd get the answer she wanted. After all, Elsie seemed just as dissatisfied with her current situation as Irena was with hers. "Is it any better than being a spy? Because I want to throw myself off the nearest cliff right now."

[ I'm so sorry it took me forever to realize that threads disappeared from the tracker >.> ]
"Honestly, with everything being so quiet it isn't everything I thought it would be. I thought I would be doing something and making a difference but... I haven't done anything." She admitted with a sigh, holding up her larger-than-average grey paws. She was fairly small for a mercenary but made up for that with her large bulk and muscle. "Why? is being a spy not fun?" She asked, concerned for her half sister's well-being. Was it really that bad?
