Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(For anyone who wishes to join, this is the thread where Larkwing and Canalilly find Rosekit and take her in)
Larkwing waited for his mate at the entrance to the camp. Weak dawn light lit up the sky above which was totted with white puffy clouds. The forest came to life with bird song. Although the morning was a bit cooler, the day still promised heat. Larkwing and Canalilly had decided to go out for a hunt at dawn for some late hunting before bed, hoping to restock the fresh-kill pile.
(Imma have Burning drop in and say hi before going to bed XP and then I can have this bookmarked for when I can come back in XP)
Burningstar yawned as she returned with her sister soaringbird from an early morning patrol. She looked over at Larkwing, "Going out to hunt instead of heading for bed?" She noted whiskers twitching. "I recommend not staying up too late, it's likely to be a very hot day." The ginger leader noted.
Larkwing dipped his head as Burningstar approached. He was pretty tired and ready to curl up in his nest but a hunt before bed sounded like a good idea and it would help him sleep. "Yeah, I figured while the forest is waking, it would be the best time to hunt. All the non nocturnal creatures will be coming out to look for food." He let a purr rise up his throat. "Dont worry, I wont stay out too late" he promised his leader with a warm smile.
Burningstar nodded, "Good," She said warmly, she glanced towards the warriors den and smiled, "I'm sure Cannalily will be out soon," She meowed amber eyes gleaming with bemusement. "And be sure to fit some fun between working hard to serve the clan," She reminded him lightly giving him a light nudge with her paw before she turned to make her way to the nursery to go check on her kits. "You work hard enough as it is."
He let out a soft chuckle and nodded, "Yes, Burningstar. I will do my best." He smiled and waved his tail farewell as Burningstar retreated toward her den.

Cannalily trotted up to Larkwing, looking sleepy. "Moooooorning..." She said and then proceeded to yawn. Mornings were not Cannalily's best friend. That would be Larkwing. But she'd put up with an early morning hunt if it meant she got to be with her beloved.
He purred, "I know its late but I figured this would be the best time to hunt since the forest is awakening." He nuzzled her affectionately and gave her a lick between the ears.

"I understand!" She said cheerily, despite her exhaustion. "It's a great idea, and it means I get to spend some time with you, so I'm prepared to face anything!"
He wrapped his tail around her, "What did I do to deserve you?" He headed for the entrance, his tail still wrapped around her. They emerged into the forest, dawn light filtering through the canopy of trees, dotting the ground with blotches of golden light and casting long shadows into the deeper part of the forest. The forest was alive, prey emerging from their slumber. He sniffed the air, a bunch of scents hitting him at once. A robin flew down from a tree and began pecking at the ground, clearly trying to get a worm. Larkwing let go of his mate and crouched, stalking it with soundless movement. Once he was in position, he leaped. The robin let out a squawk of alarm as it tried to fly but unfortunately, Larkwing was quicker and caught it with an outstretched paw and brought it back down and killed it with a swift bite to the neck. He scratched dirt over it so that he could collect it later.

"That was great, Larkwing!" Cannalily praised her mate. Seeing him in action was always cool. She looked around for her own prey to chase. She wanted to show she could be equally as cool.
