Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She moved through the quiet halls of the main house reminiscent of a ghost, eyes trailing along the walls and the stories told of past lives within these walls. Where did she fall in this grander scheme of everything then, was she making the right choices? Should she perhaps had tried to repent for her past sins rather than embrace them, rather than welcome sin and the devil into her heart on a fast track to a special hell just for herself? Not only torturing herself but Sigmund as well, dragging the tom to this group and establishing themselves on top. Forcing Sigmund to keep up a constant act of how he used to be, to keep suspicion towards his past away from them.
He was locked into a box of crazy and not allowed out around anyone except herself, killing all those that saw him as he really was. Mother E'tani had killed any who came wandering by who might even be suspicious of their pasts. And while it caused her no pain to end their lifes she wondered how long the two of them could keep this up. Before it broke them and they became unable to piece each other together again. Sigmund was her only friend, and wasn't that sad. Her only friend a tom who couldn't be himself a majority of the time. Perhaps she was crazy? Maybe this is what madness truly was and she was already within it's embrace.

"You called?" His voice was normal for once. Not a single hint of insanity in his usual scratchy voice. In fact, if you listened closely you could pick up a voice far away. One that held no scratch and was as smooth as honey. The tom wrapped his tail around his paws, his fur flattened down, and even the balding spots covering his pelt seemed less irritated during this flop in personality. Sigmund was not crazy. He was far from it. A former trained assassin who had spent his life killing, or at the very least dug up dirt for those who hired him. He was far from stupid. No, he was intelligent and strong, but his life was dedicated to his best friend and colleague. The she-cat who had saved his life and had brought clarity to his once murky mind. He owed everything to Mother.
He knew she felt a hint of remorse for what she put him through. He knew that she probably didn't like forcing him to be a cat of his past, but Sigmund didn't really mind. It was much easier for those within the league to believe he was nothing more then the loony pawn used by the Nemesis. He had learned during his time as warden that everyone let their guard down around the crazy ones. Even the most cautious of cats had spilled their secrets around him. He was the spy who gathered in the information, and Mother E'tani was the enforcer who used that information to their benefit. The most deadliest duo, and most didn't even know that.

Turning she gave him a rare smile, something soft within it though it quickly wiped away. Smiles were hard for her, had been even before she had made herself into a monster to protect herself from any future hurts. She considered the tom and hummed before looking off once more, letting her thoughts tumble slowly as she considered what she needed to say and talk about with Sigmund. "How are things going with Doestar?" She questioned though she knew there would be little development there. That operation had just been put into motion, she wasn't even sure the two had met outside the first meeting Mother E'tani had been at. Though she had lightly suggested to both that they should perhaps keep more constant contact to help their alliance of sorts.
"Do you think you could perhaps help me move in on Earthclan or should I approach Eshek?" With this the reason for her first question became clear, the she-cat obviously wanting to know what Sigmund was involved in with Summerclan to know if she could split his attention. Mother E'tani despite appearances cared for Sigmund and didn't want to risk him making a mistake because his focus was to split and the two acts so different he could possible slip up. Not that Mother had ever seen him make a mistake, but there was a first for anything and to assume her warden was infallible was ridiculous.

"Doestar is wrapped around my tiny paw. It's actually shocking how easy it is to manipulate the fool. He feels comfortable that I won't betray him because of my insanity but all the same views me as charming. It's actually quiet hilarious how easy he falls for any old male." Sigmund said with a slight chuckle as he wrapped his tail around his paws. He never thought in a million years that he would be going from being a mercenary in the city to pretending to be plagued with insanity while he swooed a tom with 9 lives. Not that he was really complaining. He liked the spontaneous tasks that Mother gave him. His ear flicked slightly as he listened to the she-cat talk, her voice music to his ears. "If you need me to move in on Earthclan I will, my dear. Anything for you." He purred.
