Celestialpaw had spent the morning in some hazy state between waking and sleeping, worn out from training. But after lunch she found her spirits were refreshed, and she commenced her usual pattern of seeking out trouble. She spotted an unsuspecting cat in the sunlight a few yards away, and her eyes gleamed with the prospect of her upcoming joke. Subtly, the small ginger she-cat slipped from camp, returning to where she had buried her discovered treasure the day before. She found it, dragging it back into camp quickly, before taking her position behind her poor victim. With a light grunt, she tossed the corpse of the snake she had found dead the day prior onto the back of the cat who had been sunning themself, before darting behind a nearby rock to watch the chaos erupt.

Aspidistraleaf had been minding her own business when the unexpected attack came from behind. Usually quite composed, the bangle she-cat nearly jumped out of her fur. Claws extended and fur fluffed up in portest she sprang to her paws hissing and pun around claws sinking into the snake carcass. Annoyed, the warrior darted blue eyes about trying catch sight of the culprit. "Ha ha ha... Very funny! You got me! You can come out now you pest." Her tail flicked in annoyance. She had been sunning her pelt in perfect content and now she would have to groom her tufts back down.
Celestialpaw tried to hold back her ss but failed, and the small ginger she-cat leapt out from her hiding place, her amused expression slightly indignant. "How'd you know it was a prank, huh? Maybe a snack died as it jumped on your back." Celestialpaw didn't fear any severe punishment- for one, it was a harmless prank, and the second reason was that her mother was one of the deputies. She could be afforded a little favoritism, now and again.

Aspidistraleaf flicked an ear and tossed the corpse back at Celestialpaw. "Your snake is cold Celestialpaw. I would expect an apprentice of your level to know the difference between fresh and old kills." The corner of her maw rose in a small amused smile. She woudlnt admit that if the she-cat hadnt exposed herself Aspidistraleaf may have had to search and even risk looking like a fool in confusion. She was good friends with Glowstar ever since they were Captured by SunClan but she knew she would get a heft cuff around the ears for laying down the law for little Celestialpaw.
"Hmph." Celestialpaw grinned widely, unbothered by the older cat's critique- not much fazed the bright-eyed ginger apprentice. "You think you can do a better prank? Or have you lost your youthful touch?" Her words were bright and lightly teasing as she approached the corpse, poking it with her paw. She hadn't been able to find a warm snake, sadly enough. But she thought it had been a fun trick, nonetheless.

The bangle warrior made a thoughtful expression. "I am more into following rules and making battle tactics than playing with young cats but I suppose it woudlnt hurt to loosen up a bit." she raised a brow and flicked and ear.
