Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Doegaze loved her home in DayClan. Although she was born in EarthClan, had rose through the ranks as Medicine Cat, and had had a good life there, she knew that DayClan was where she was meant to be. Not as a medicine cat, but as a warrior. What felt like all of those moons ago, Doegaze had fallen for Skeletonshiver, the medicine cat of MoonClan. Although nothing came to pass between the two, and she had no idea if he was even still alive, she thought about him often. Now that she was a warrior, she was allowed to love. Allowed to have kits! She thought, shivering with excitement. Her recent escapades with Crowkit had made the longing in her heart even stronger for her own family.
The pretty, small calico was close to the thin strip of a thunderpath that ran through the territory. She hated the smell of it. Crinkling her nose, she padded across and toward the border that was not occupied by any clan; she marked it anyway, when she caught the scent of an unfamiliar cat. She froze, the fur along her neck standing, her golden eyes getting even wider than they were normally as she looked around, a low growl in her throat.
(Okay I couldn't figure out why her name was so familiar and then you say in this post she was a medicine cat. and I'm like hey I remember her cus I remember thinking I love that name!)
Dewsun had been out for a walk, nothing to do and no one to admire him. It was depressing, unappealing, downright wrong. There should always be someone admiring him, pleased to see him. Woe him, oh whatever was he to do? The dramatic tom had wondered fairly far from home, though he cared not. Why should he? His looks and charm had gotten him this far in life, why wouldn't they get him further? No one would dare kill him. The world would lose it's most beautiful cat!
He was startled to be growled at. How dare this cat! He was doing no harm but by being his usual, beautiful self! They should be amazed to even be allowed in his presence. The nerve of some cats. "Can I help you?" So much sass.
[ yes! i had to bring her back because i loved her so! ]
"Can you help me?" Doegaze bristled, staring incredibly at the tom as though he was a fox that had just rolled in its own dung. "You're in my territory," she informed him, raising her chin. She was smaller in size; she hadn't grown much since her eighth moon, although it had never hampered her abilities as a medicine cat or a warrior, and she still held herself confidently as she stared Dewsun down. She then realized he had found his way to DayClan all the way from FallClan. He had to be looking for trouble.
"You truly think I care about territories? Boundaries? Ha!" The mere thought could bring him to tears in laughter. To think she really thought he of all cats cared about something so little, simple. Dewsun glanced around, "I'll give you this, the place is nice. Not as appealing as myself, but still nice to gaze upon."
Doegaze narrowed her eyes, not able to believe the way the tom was talking about himself. "You're a clan cat, but you don't care about boundaries?" She snorted, shaking her head, the tip of her tail flicking back and forth in annoyance. He obviously wasn't a very good warrior if he cared so little for the Warrior Code.
