Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Honestly, today was a boring day for Gracie. There really wasn't much for her to do so she had decided to go and meet a few more of her future clanmates. It was important for her to be able to earn their trust after all and this might just be the first step. The first person she spotted was Boneash. Well...He probably wasn't the best one to start with, but she really didn't see anyone else around. She put on her best smile as she made her way over to him. "Hi! I don't think I've had the opportunity to introduce myself yet! My name is Gracie. I'm the newest initiate!" Her voice was overly friendly and energetic, but that was honestly pretty normal for her. She was just hoping that she didn't manage to make a fool of herself before this was all said and done.
At first, it seemed that Boneash hadn't heard a word that the initiate had said. He was lying on the ground, paws crossed in front of him, his ears perked and alert. When she spoke to him, he didn't move a muscle for nearly a minute. When she didn't move on, his fiery, golden gaze narrowed as he looked at her, the tip of his tail flicking lightly. Unlike some in the clan (his father included), Boneash was not thrilled when new initiates arrived. Foxstar was his paternal grandmother, and his leader, though he hardly agreed with her choices to let outsiders in. Still, the russet colored tom looked Gracie up and down, though not out of curiosity; no, he was sizing her up.
"You're right that you have not, though I don't believe I asked," the tom replied curtly. "Still, I suppose I should humor you. That is if you think you will pass Foxstar's tests to become a full-fledged member. Many have died beneath the great light of the sun," he let that hang between them a moment longer. "I'm Boneash."
"Of course I'm going to pass! What is important is having faith in the Sun God right?" She tilted her head to the side. "Sure I don't know a lot at the moment, but I'm trying my best to learn more everyday." She didn't seem bothered at all by the way he was speaking to her. Of course she knew that he didn't seem all that happy that she was speaking to him, but part of becoming a member of SunClan was earning the trust of the ones that weren't so ready to welcome them right?
This was why she just kept smiling up at him with that same happy naive smile. "It's nice to meet you! So far I've really only spoken with the Senators and the other initiates. It's great to finally be meeting other members of SunClan!"
