Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
In this thread a PI patrol has been put together by Senescence after Maia from the foreign affairs (rped by Honeystorm ) district has been caught planning an escape from Primal Instinct with her newly born kits and her daughter Zalaph-kun. The mission is to secure the kits and hunt down Maia.
Senescence has ordered Maia killed for treason and the kits secured safely to benefit the future of Primal Instinct. You have also been informed that Zalaph-kun is not an accomplice of her mother, but a traitor to her and is to not be killed.
It was dusk. The streaks of orange mixing with ever looming blackness to remind the world that night was soon to arrive. The patrol was to meet up before it was completely dark. The intel given to him by Senescence informing him that Zalaph-kun, Maia, and the kits would be leaving Primal Instinct in the dead of night with the hope that everyone would be asleep. "She should have known the Internal Affairs district has eyes everywhere." Lynx said with a sigh and a disappointed shake of his head. He almost pitied the hunter for being caught as a traitor by Senescence. Everyone knew that the proxy didn't take kindly to traitors, and that for the most part when Mother E'tani gave her the reigns to decide a cat's fate that Senescence would almost always choose execution. It was either go big or go home, no in between. Not that he really cared what happened to Maia. The only thing he cared about was that he was placed as the leader of this patrol to begin with.
"She couldn't have chosen anyone else? Alexandra? Wendy? Anyone else?" He mumbled to himself. He didn't like the idea of his unique skills being used to hunt down a single mother and a few snot-nosed brats, but he wasn't exactly one to say no to Senescence. Not because he was scared of her, of course, but because he didn't want to lose the luxury of being able to sleep anywhere he wanted on the fourth floor, which included Senescence's own personal bed.
Flame approached Lynx, dipping her head to him respectfully. Although her actions were respectful, her turquoise eyes were cold and a blood thirsty glint was swimming around within their ocean depths. Her firey colored fur was ablaze in the light of the moon, her muscles could be seen rippling through it. She looked powerful and dangerous, just like she had trained to be. However, though she looked intimidating, especially with the long nasty scar running across her muzzle she recieved from Scenescence, there was something charming about her. Something sneaky, yet memorizing, hipnotizing.
She raked the earth with her claws, impatiently waiting for the rest of the patrol. She was glad Havoc was coming along. He had been the one to show her battling techniques when she was just an apprentice living in Moonclan. She had always looked up to him and admired him. He hadnt seen much of him lately and wondered if he would approve of the monster she had turned into.

To the average eye Flame probably appeared normal. A well-behaved she-cat who had once been a Moonclan warrior and was born to two equally as highly respected Moonclan warriors. How could someone as pretty and innocent as her survive in a place like Primal Instinct? Surely she had been forced against her will to serve such savages. But to the trained eye, it was clear that Flame had a sinister side hidden behind her persona. She was as dangerous as anyone else in the group was, and all it took to tell this was the murderous glint that shined briefly in her eyes. "Glad you could join us." Lynx said simply with a dismissive motion of his tail. He didn't particularly care how Flame truly was as long as she did what he told her to do. "The others are late. How annoying." He said with a heavy sigh.
She gave a grateful nod to the leader of the patrol before flicking her eyes toward the shadowy forest. She flicked her tail, clearly annoyed. "This is why I prefer to do missions myself or have a smaller patrol." She responded to Lynx's sigh of annoyance. Though her composure was threatening, her voice sounded small and soothing as if she were a siren in disguise, luring creatures to their death with the trick of innocence.

Brilliance-kun had spent her time waiting for Kotori, expecting the two to walk to the group together. But that wasn't the case, and now she approached the pair alone. Stifling a yawn, she kept walking. It was early, early for the usual trainees. But for one who felt like she'd been a trainee since she joined the League, it wasn't bad. Her fur was covered in dew, the only thing showing above the grass were her black ears. Sure, she could say she spent her time waiting, but she was also short, and took twice as many steps to cross the same distance as everyone else. So, there she went.
"Hello Lynx. Hello Flame." She nodded to both, shaking her pelt dry a few feet away before approaching.
"Brilliance-kun, glad you can join us. Any ideas where your mentor is?" Lynx asked with a yawn escaping his muzzle. It was early for him too, or rather it was late. Not that anybody would really believe he was already tired. All he ever did was sleep after all.

"I would have been here on time if I did." She reached a back paw forward to scratch at her ear, "I was waiting for him outside of camp but he didn't show." Brilliance-kun could have went and bugged Kotori until she found him, but the last time she did that, she got an earful and had to help pull weeds in the greenhouse as punishment. She didn't mind, but maybe if he ran late here, he'd be a little easier on her being punctual.
"How long are we willing to wait for him?" He was perhaps a little late to meeting the patrol - this certainly seemed like a time-sensitive mission, and every passing moment was a tail-length further Maia got - but the nearly-all-black tom seemed unbothered by that, especially since it seemed he was regardless still willing to criticize Kotori for his own absence. Havoc settled down next to Flame, giving her a quick glance before focusing back on Lynx.
Flame flash him an embarrassed look, feeling warm under her fur. She always admired him and she often tried to impress him. After all, he was the one that got her to join Primal Instinct. She sat up a little straighter when he settled next to her. "Hopefully he shows up soon. But even if he doesn't, we can pick up Maia's scent easily" she flexed her claws at the last word, a wicked grin spreading across her face. She couldnt wait to sink her claws into Maia. "Besides, she cant gain much ground with those brats slowing her down."
"He'll be here soon, I'm sure." With Havoc here, only Kotori was missing. Despite their rough relationship, Brilliance-kun still felt embarrassed for him. Hopefully, he'll turn up soon. At least so they could get moving and she wouldn't be berated for her mentor's behavior.

Lynx let out a sigh as the minutes passed and Havoc grew more and more impatient. "Alright, well, it's nightfall. We should be enacting our move now, so Kotori will just have to catch up." He shrugged his shoulders as he lashed his tail for the others to follow. "So here is the plan. Havoc and Flame, your job will be to take out Maia. By the time we catch up to her she will be close to the border with Absum Lux. Keep yourselves hidden until I give the signal. Do whatever you want with her. I don't really care as long as she's dead by the end of it. Meanwhile, me and Brilliance-kun will secure the kits as well as Zalaph-kun while she's distracted. We've been ordered to keep Zalaph-kun alive, so even if she fights back don't murder her." He knew he probably should be the one fighting Maia and taking her out, but the tom didn't really want the responsibility nor the blood on his paws. If the kits grew up to seek revenge then at least he could say that he didn't lay a single claw on their precious mother. Not that he particularly cared if they grew up to hate him or not. He didn't really have the motivation to keep up with other cats emotions or vendettas against him. If he had it his way if Kotori had showed he would of just sat back and watched the whole thing, but considering Kotori bailed the lynx-point tabby didn't really have much of a choice but to participate in some way. It wasn't like he could just send a newly promoted trainee off to wrangle a bunch of snot nosed brats by herself.
Flame nodded in agreement at the plan, anticipation tingling her paws. This was her moment to show what she is really made of. Maia would never see her coming and she would strike. She was glad she was working with Havoc. Both of them together would make Maia's death slow and painful so that she had time to reflect on what she did and regret it before her last breath.

Brilliance-kun nodded, turning around to look back one more time. Well, nothing to be done. It gave her a chance to work with Lynx, and she didn't have to kill Maia. Which was it's own relief. She stood up, shaking a little as her own anticipation built up. This was her first mission, and she would be taking it more seriously then they might expect.
